To anyone angry and upset, please remember that Dr. Luxury visited these places before the pandemic began - his videos are *weeks* behind what we see here.
Dr. Luxury would never endanger anyone and just wants to show us beautiful parts of the world. As per his blog, he has cancelled his upcoming trips and he doesn't care about travel now. By posting these videos, he is NOT encouraging us to go now, but maybe he is giving us something to think about later when it is safe to travel. The tourism industry is suffering now and will need our help when it is safe again.
I think we could also all agree that we could use some relaxation! Thanks for posting, Dr. Luxury.

I visited this resort on my trip to Thailand last November. Thailand is an amazing and beautiful country...but this resort was the highlight of the trip. the most relaxing trip of my life thus far. the service was amazing. our concierge (Ms. Friday) arranged everything for us so that I didn't have worry about a single thing during the trip. Loved the food. the snorkeling excursion was wonderful too. Thank you for your recommendation.

Always enjoy watching this lovely video I too have been here it’s absolutely fantastic, I plan to go here with parents again as soon as possible,my mum likes 7 minute boiled eggs in the morning, so the chef said to my mum I’ve never known any one have a egg like that before he fell in love with them and does them like that now,,,so nice to have beautiful memories from your holiday,, peace and happiness as always,,,

This place is magnificent!! A little piece of pure heaven!! You show us every little detail! The color of the water there is beautiful and I can’t even describe that infinity pool so luxurious! So many amazing play areas for the children and I’ve never seen such a play feature as the one I saw here! I love the sound of the waves and the birds and the beautiful music in between! What a beautiful world we live in. Thank you so much! You take us right there!

I watch and re-watch so many of your videos.....by far, my favorite resort ever is Soneva Kiri. When life as we know it gets back to somewhat normality, this is one place that I hope to visit above anywhere else.

I was at the Soneva Kiri recently on my 4th visit to Thailand. I agree with you that Soneva is my favorite brand of resorts and Soneva Kiri is possible the most stunning eco-luxury resort in the world. I stayed at the Villa 51, a Sunset Ocean View Pool Villa Suite of almost 500 m2. The experience was astonishing. I think that the 6-Bedroom Villa of the video was the Villa 63 that was fully destroyed by a fire last summer. It was located near South Beach. On my way to South Beach I saw the site and new buildings were on construction there.
What sold me was the chocolate yum. Definitely a vacation spot for me.
And yet another stunning Soneva resort, stunningly recorded and edited to very high standards. This is another addition to a busy bucket list for the retirement.
A nice video and wonderful escapism. I really like that and it is an excellent deflection at this time.

Yes, i stayed there, May 2016, together with 5 friends n my fiancee during our pre honeymoon before registered partnership. It was an awesome experience n by far the best n most impressive I ever stayed in...

The best place I have ever stayed at so far has been Mandapa Ritz Carlton Reserve in Ubud... But this could be even better... I will have to wait and see. Another fantastic video as always sir 👏

Another excellent review as usual. In 2019 I visited over 20 countries including the USA, Russia and Thailand to name but a few. Unfortunately this year I will in all probability visit none. What a beautiful place. Some of it's design reminds me of the Pavilions and Villas in the Maldives on the waters. The organic feel (like Bali) looks so peaceful, to be there in awe and wonderment. OH the Chocolate room had me wide eyed :-)

As always, nothing less than expected from your humble & generous shares. We are in difficult times, though. My worries are for those that will never experience this, are the bigger worry. So many different levels of survival on this Planet. Think I’d feel guilty if I were able to afford. Many use the word ‘blessed’ to validate such excursions. The ‘haves’ & ‘nots’ is expressly exemplified in your video. Blessed be the impoverished!
Thanks for giving me one hour peace on my lunch break. Unfortunately home office is not possible but I promise to myself, if we are able to travel again, all my hard earned money goes into traveling.

Is this your 3rd visit to this resort? I see that you still name this the best in the world. Like others have said you give so much inspiration to travel and explore. This video is just so relaxing and vivid that it almost creates the sense of being there in person.
