Deklarasyon ng food security emergency, inaasahan ng DA sa unang linggo ng Pebrero

Hindi pa natatanggap ng Department of Agriculture ang pormal na rekomendasyon mula sa National Price Coordinating Council upang tuluyang ideklara ang food security emergency sa bansa.
Ngunit sa oras na maideklara ito, maaaring ibenta ng DA ang mga stock ng bigas ng National Food Authority sa mga lokal na pamahalaan at iba pang ahensya ng gobyerno sa mas mababang halaga.
