Even thought we have a second chance after dying, in reality, many people probably wouldn't make it out of the depths. Our characters in deep are pretty damn strong, but if we were put into the world, training would take a lot longer than it is in game. Not only that things we'd encounter would def not have simple attack patterns we just learn. A lot of people would probably die pretty early on when out of towns or safe zones.

The whole time I was just saying to myself "kill Dex... PLEASE kill Dex..." over and over again as it seemed to me he was being selfish and was avoiding death, and I even thought the dice rolling thing was a lie. Although, his last moments really showed his honesty and his willingness to go fairly.

this could be a whole movie, my only experiance that comes close is when me and a couple other deepbound freshies tried conquoring the depths when deepbound first released, there were some epic things like when i got an owl to fall into the void so we could acces an area but they at first thought I died untill I came back to castle light and I remember when i wiped we all said 98% as in akira saying 98% of divers die

While heading to the exit, I found a soul who had wandered to the exit like I had; They went by "Dragon Ymara". He noticed me, and naturally, we introduced eachother. Seeing the chance to progress my oath, I asked him "Got an oath?" He responded "No", as I asked him if he wanted to do the trial together with me. ...I mean, this is basically a free skill, y'know? Perplexed, he asked, "..How strong are you?" Naturally, I responded "Quite!", There's nobody I can't protect. "Everybody's safe with me." "Hmm...", he responded, pondering his choices. "Trust me!", I said. Another soul - A friend of mine - Dex Isket - wandered over to us, covered in red, glowing tattoos and the mask of a horse. Dragon Ymara, after Dex introduced themself, exclaimed: "I don't need help, but it's good to know I have someone who can assist me in my troubles." "So, What do you say?" I questioned, eagerly awaiting his response. "Hmm... Sure, I don't see an issue with you tagging along." Another soul piped in named 'Crona Vendet', who decided to tag in; A known friend of Dragon. The more people in the trial, the better, right...? So, we got in the elevator. 5 of us. "Welp, boutta be hell.", Said Dragon. "I should probably help too", Said Dex. "I'm not that strong, But I'll try!", Said Crona. "I mean, I can parry well. Trust me.", Said- Winter? Who's that? ... "Wait, Wait, No, I-" Dex isket started panicking. Why?; I was unaware that some of us had to die… "They're going to make us fight!" A few heads perked up, before Dex calmed down, and added; "Wait, no, nevermind, It's only 5 of us..." What is this guy on? I thought to myself. ... As the elevator reached the trial, voices rung through our heads; The voices of The Depths. "What a fetid lump of waste these ones are.", The voice of Odium spoke. "Oh, little ones... You mustn't leave your cage... Though it is simply ADORABLE to watch you struggle...", The voice of Sequestration spoke. Until... "These ones deserve true punishment... They seek to make a mockery of this place with sheer numbers.", The voice of Enmity spoke. The voice of Odium, annoyed, sighed. "I suppose we can wait here until they thin their numbers..." ..... 3 left. "Well, Free for all time." Spoke dex, attacking crona. Dragon was sitting in a corner, crying about it like a loser... ...I didn't have the heart to kill any of them, though I knew I could, As I was more powerful than all of them. After knocking everybody, he went and attacked me. I didn't want to die, so I was forced to fight back... He slid across the floor, swinging his dagger in a quick & erratic movement, however very controlled for what the technique was. Swinging his dagger wildly, he missed 3 hits; as he panicked, and I chased after him, crippling him with my greatsword. We had eventually made it back over to the elevator, however, He used a cutting barrage technique I had not seen before. Fortunately I was able to parry most of it, countering with a strong left hook, Landing, launching him forward. Anticlimacticly falling forward after one more slash to his chest, I had won. but... Should I kill him? is this the right thing to do...? "Well.. How about we vote 2 people out?" he suggested. I thought it would only be one, but I couldn't really say no, I didn't have the heart. After a couple seconds of silence, I suggested killing the weakest person. Only the strong survive, after all. Winter, ashamed that he had interrupted the trial, was willing to sacrifice himself for the greater good, as he wasn't that powerful himself. "I don't have anything to lose, after all..." And so... Dex killed him, as he spoke his final words; "Remember me." As his soul dissapated, fully consumed by The Depths,... Rest in peace. 2 left. Just one more, and this nightmare was over... I thought to myself. Oh, how wrong I was... Dex, the leader of our little crusade, suggested that dragon & crona fought to see who would survive. Sanity already starting to crumble, They complied. I couldn't believe we were doing this... Dragon, with his expertise in flamecharm, quickly overpowered crona in the one-on-one fight. He had won. Unfortunately, Dragon didn't have the heart to grip him - None of us did, as crona silently wept. Considering his options, dragon decided to roll a dice; On who would die... ...It was dex. We laughed it off, thinking that he was just gonna roll again.. until he had started giving me his items, as a gift before his soul was permanently destroyed. "hey, are you seriously..." I couldn't finish my sentance, it was too heartbreaking, My friend who had been with me all these years is...? It wasn't long before I was crying like crona was, too... "Who wants to grip me?" Dex asked, but none of us were able to volunteer... We all hesitated. "Are you sure, dex?", Asked crona. Dex just gave them a solemn nod. We wouldn't attack him, so he forced us to by attacking us... I couldn't do anything but watch as he took down crona & dragon singlehandedly. But after knocking them down, he came to me, the only one strong enough to defeat him, almost like I heard him say... "Let's have one last battle". .... Quickly dodging & weaving his attacks, he tried his best to dismantle me, Swing after swing, blow after blow, the noise of weapons clashing and swords flying through the air, we both remained unwavering in our clashes, The heat of battle slowly clearing all hesitation I had, but... I hestitated, as his dagger stabbed into me, blood trickling down the edge of his blade. Kicking him back, coughing up blood, Covered in scratches, bruises and cuts, Eventually, after a long and tedious battle; I had won. Coughing blood to his side, lying almost motionless on the ground, dex spoke; "It's been a good one, friend.", tears in both our eyes. "We'll remember you - We all will." I said. Breaking the moment a bit, he laughed, and said; "I wouldn't have it any other way... Astra Venshi." Stepping over him, I raised my greatsword high into the air, before... ...Splitting his head into two. ...As his soul was consumed by The Depths, I could do nothing but cry. As tears streamed down from my blindfold,--- 1 left. It wasn't two deaths. It was three. It hurt, Crona was already clawing at his eyes to loss of sanity, Dragon could barely hold themselves together. How much more do we need to endure to survive? I Had never wanted to quit so badly in my life, I was on the brink of giving up right then and there. I didn't want to die either, and I could easily kill the others... ... Crona fell to the floor. What? Is he just playing around? why are they just lying on the floor like that? I walked over to them, curious, and... having torn out their eyes; died to blood loss, and was consumed by the depths. 0 left. "THE CONDITIONS HAVE BEEN FULFILLED. THEY ARE TO LEAVE UNSCATHED." Spoke another Voice, this time more akin to Authority. "Be seeing you soon, my lovelies...", The voice of Sequestration spoke. Sanity already regaining, our souls began to glow; We had escaped The Depths. ..But at what cost?

Dude, I remember a long time ago in deep, I got bugged in the lift at the top. I didn’t get teleported to the actual area where you fight the enemy, just the area before you get tped there. I remember making a ticket, sending screenshots, videos, over a time period of nearly an hour and a half. I could see people when they came up, and this one dude kept coming up and then leaving to rejoin and check up on me. It was great wishing people luck on their way up, but the insanity caught up, and I eventually died, leaving a body for my caretaker to find. That was probably my most deepwoken moment

I had a similar experience to this but unlike random people it was my guild, all five of us MAXED pve builds, decided to try to get out of the depths trial together. Worst decision of our lives. I survived and my other friend too but the other 3 guildmates i was with had to die for us. (Only to be gripped by a contractor twice in the overworld then get sent to depths then die because my wifi disconnected in a single hour) truly a deepwoken.
its funny how dex was trying to kill everyone then the second he gets downed he asks to cast a vote then makes people 1v1 to try save himself, but I really didnt expect him to vote himself out,he easily could of said any name
You would think that this would be easy to do, knowing you are much more powerful than the others, but the thing is you still have to ruin their builds in order for you to survive which kinda sucks to know
Dex at the start seemed like a dude who would only do what conveniences him as we see when hes attacking everyone and you down him. He only then suggests to vote out someone because his slot was in danger. But then he rolled and when he rolled himself he *actually* wiped

BTW if you aren't in combat you can log without combat logging this includes being in the trial. Small tip: if you can't fight squibbo in trial just hide from it until you can log

Dude, I remember a long time ago in deep, I got bugged in the lift at the top. I didn’t get teleported to the actual area where you fight the enemy, just the area before you get tped there. I remember making a ticket, sending screenshots, videos, over a time period of nearly an hour and a half. I could see people when they came up, and this one dude kept coming up and then leaving to rejoin and check up on me. It was great wishing people luck on their way up, but the insanity caught up, and I eventually died, leaving a body for my caretaker to find. That was probably my most deepwoken moment

I had a similar experience to this but unlike random people it was my guild, all five of us MAXED pve builds, decided to try to get out of the depths trial together. Worst decision of our lives. I survived and my other friend too but the other 3 guildmates i was with had to die for us.
(Only to be gripped by a contractor twice in the overworld then get sent to depths then die because my wifi disconnected in a single hour) truly a deepwoken.
