The Dean Jones Show (July, 1965)

This unsold pilot starred the titular Dean Jones as Alec Tate, a swinging bachelor who tries to clean up his image when he's visited by his younger sister, Bunny. Bunny in turn tries to set her brother up with a date.
Diane McBain and Robert Middleton co-starred.

Thank you for posting this episode. I am a huge Diane McBain fan, and this was one of her television appearances that I couldn’t find until you brought it to us. Diane was so kind as to write me twice each with an autographed photo. Today is the 1st anniversary of her passing. I do miss her, but her work will always bring a smile to day. ❤️ By the way, great and funny episode in addition to including the commercials!!! 😃

Dean's first venture into television was his 1962-63 navy sit-com, "Ensign O'Toole" on NBC. Some of the episodes were rerun on ABC in 1964. Jay C. Flippen (Cappy),, seen at 6:04, was one of Dean's costars in "Ensign O'Toole."

Great find never knew this existed. Dean Jones was besides his work at Disney he was a wonderful singer if you saw him singing in Stephen Sondheim s company. Surprisingly never had a really successful tv show ensign o toole and Chicago teddy bears were relatively short lived.
