It is so beautiful, memorable, full of joy and so emotional. This is what everyone's childhood should like and this is what family and love are all about.

As a 20 year old dude in college, this takes me back, and it still get's me teary eyed. The MLP fandom was always a great escape from reality, and even though times for me were extremely tough back then (this video came out 2 months after my father's suicide, I was 13 at the time) sometimes I wish I could experience the joys of escaping reality to such a degree again, just for a little bit. No one will probably read this, but if they do, thank you for being a part of a community that brought me so much joys in my years of darkness.

I remember also tearing up while watching this as a child and escaping reality but it always left me with this sort of emptiness after watching, like one where I wish so badly that this could be a true reality thus never really allowing me to enjoy it.
Darn it man! I said at the beginning i wouldn't cry but here i am in tear sobbing about how dashie left her "dad"
For all these years, I cannot ever hold back the nostalgic years of hearing this little kids show. At first, I had no taste of it since I am more of a real person than an interest in fiction. However, a decade later, this mini movie has really hit me hard. The strong mix of fiction and reality shows how much effort you have made. I cannot, without a doubt, ever thank you for creating one of the most cutest, saddest, but most importantly, nostalgic movies of a fictional kids show. I will hold this as a part of my life and will set a date to revisit all My Little Pony media as I can.

Been 10 years, and this is still beautiful. As a long My Little Pony fan, this touched my soul. My heart still fill up with many emotions and made me in tears of joy and feels and it still has even after many years. Even though the series has ended, I still love them so much and always been loyal to the franchise.

The truth is, I'm also a big fan of My Little Pony and well... I didn't think I'd find a mini-movie like that, but I found it and I really think it's beautiful, it's too beautiful, 10 years of my life went by and I didn't realize the existence of this video, I love it and I really appreciate it too much, it honestly touched my heart, meeting Dashie, seeing how she grows with the protagonist, I really reached the abyss of my feelings, but... the protagonist clarifies that one day she will have to go, I really didn't expect it and I didn't want it to happen, the ending saddened me too much, the sadness was tremendous, for a moment that happiness went into the void, but life is like that, you have to let go of those who you want more, but the truth is... I don't expect that and I never wanted it to happen sincerely, the mini-movie is beautiful and very sentimental, well made, I love it and not only am I going to save it on my playlist, but I also have a space in my heart where I will keep it and remember it as many times as necessary, I really appreciate this movie 💖 💖
After 7 long and beautiful years in the fandom, I confess that I still find it hard to fully watch My Little Dashie in it's entirety. But, nevertheless, it is more beautiful than any film ever produced. The passionate emotional narrator, the extensive but vivid vignettes detailing every step in Dashie's journey from childhood to early adolescence, Dashie's happy and later heartbreaking sadness when discovering her existence is chained to the world of cartoon, the father and daughter's ultimate heartwarming reconcile, coupled and concluding with the arrival of the Mane Six and Princess Celestia to take Dashie away from her adoptive human father and back to her home in Equestria, all come together to create perhaps one of the most beautiful, heartwarming and heartbreaking films that have ever been produced.
Thank you, StormXF3, for presenting the entire Brony fandom, myself including, with one of the most vivid, thrilling and captivating works of cinematography that is humanly possible to create. May you use your one-of-a-kind talent to create more beautiful art in film, as well as your animated skits.❤

Despite being 12 years since MLP: Fim, the show has impacted me on a personal level. And this video made me miss the good old days of the show and how the many lessons it taught had changed my life forever and made into the brony fan I'm still today. It puts me into tears seeing how the show inspired me and motivate me to pursue my dreams and to never give up on those dreams. There'll never be a show like MLP: Fim. Not ever. Thanks for all the good memories of watching the show and the characters I grew and loved so much.

Originally saw this seven years ago, out of nowhere the title of this video just invaded my memory so I decided to come back and take a look, make sure it still existed. I've never shed a tear while watching anything and a few films got close. And I'll say, this one almost got me. I grew out of mlp a while ago but this is still as good as I remember. This was indeed a great experience.

Its been an entire decade and even now, i still revel with the nostalgia and joy this brought me from when i first watched this as a kid. Seeing this after so long really makes you sit having to process it all.

I love this, and I don't usually love things that are emotional roller coasters like this (I mean that in a good way)! This was so bittersweet and well done! No matter how many times I watch it, 10 times, 100 times, 1000, I always cry, it does not matter if I start from the beginning of the video, the middle or the end, I can not stop crying and then I have to stay half an hour myself Concentrating to the maximum to stop.
This pulled so hard on my heart. Not only is it just a reminder that you can't hold onto things forever, but it also made me feel genuine physical sadness, knowing that I've gotten into this show and fandom far past it's peak of popularity. All the talented individuals coming together to make works of art, the hype for more content surrounding this beloved series, all of this I was somewhat aware of, but never got to experience for myself. This all reminds me of the fact that this animations serves as a reminder to me personally how much I love this series. There has never been anything in my entire life that has made me feel this way, and Dashie being used to demonstrate this just tears my soul apart. If there was any way I could bond over this with anyone, I would truly, truly appreciate it.

Watching this annually now, this is my second year coming back, I'm 17 now. I gotta say, I NEVER cry during any movies or films, and this is the only thing that gets me. While originally watching the mlp show started this ridiculous brony journey of mine, this story right here is what started the next step in my journey. This was the first true piece of the brony community I had experienced and let me say it was such a good one to start on. The writing was ON POINT! And little rainbow is the most adorable thing I've seen in a while. Going through this was also a journey on its own. It was really fun to see rainbow dash grow up with her caretaker. And the connection between them was something special. And since I cried alot during mlp, I thought to myself I was probably going to cry here, and God damn it why do I know myself. I sobbed so fricken hard during this. I got through the first sobbening when rainbow ran away and her and the caretaker make up in the forest. That got me really good and everything was happy, I was feeling happy, and then you had to make the purple horse knock on the door. Of course I screamed "YOU CANT DO THIS!" I meant it not only for twilight and the gang, but also you. And now came the second sobbening that was even worse than the first, but however my little dashie will always have a special place when I think back to my brony journey so far. It is a truly bueatiful story with high impact on the emotions. Thank you for the great content you have graced the community with and continue to make hilarious mlp videos!

I should have said this years ago but I'm going to say it now. Your video is what got me into My Little Pony. I had never given it a chance and often thought that it was ridiculous that this series could have such a fan base that it does... 10 years ago I was only about four or three... And I still remember the plot, the characters, the lines, everything.
I'm only here because this video was released 10 years ago. Now this was by far one of the most saddest. My Little Pony fanfiction Story that I ever read and saw.
You know, i'll be completely honest, i thought My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic was just going to be another toy sellout with characters that have bland personalities, and the plot just runned on cheap writing. I was wrong. This show just has so much meaning and work put into it that i couldn't call it a sellout for toys. I don't think i have ever seen a show or anything else that is filled with so much kindness, love, and decency with such incredibly generous and likable characters with awesome personalities and were well casted with the voice actors. And this show is far beyond a girly sellout, it looks like a cartoon meant for all genders and ages that is supposed to inspire people to show a bigger and better side of their feelings and emotions, and treat the people you love with so much respect and friendliness at every step.
And i really love these videos, too. They are well edited, and portrayed very well. And i think i love this one the most. I don't think my heart has warmed so much out of all of the videos on TH-cam i have seen. And this video made me love the show even more, and has made me like the character Rainbow Dash even a whole lot more. I love the way she is portrayed in this, and she looks so cute as a filly. Although her voice is a little off, but she still is wonderful.

The letter really touched me very much at the ending. Plus when Rainbow discovered the truth, that was a touching moment when she admitted what she did.

I found it very beautiful, but also very sad ... a mini love movie, but a very heavy farewell and even if I had the dashie I would know that it is her place, I would know that she would miss me, but I would also know that It's the right thing to do.

In my opinion we need something like this in the final season of the series, with just as much heart and emotion. This is a absolute masterpiece of a film in my opinion and i bust out in tears and feel warm and fuzzy every time i watch it. I want this for the tv series one day,or at least something with thid much heart and raw emotion.
Speaking of which, I have heard rumors that the next season of the series will be the last one (at least the last one to air on cable TV). Have you ever heard of any rumors like this and can you perhaps confirm or deny them?

No matter how much the fandom doubts its success, it seems as though G4 will last for a long time, even though they have been through major changes, such as what I believe was replacing one of the core producers of the show at the end of season 2 (fyre-flye on DA).

Man If I had a mini Rainbow Dash I would take care of her for the rest of my life because if she is out all alone in some random cardbored box then 1 reason for that is that someone did not want the pony or two they just want to get rid of it but Rainbow Dash is just so cute and adorable like I just wanna see her in real life but I can't.
