  • A general overview of one of the landmark cameras of yesteryear. This was pretty much done off the cuff - trying to figure out how best to lay everything out. Thanks for watching!

    The whole process of inserting cartridge all the way to pulling those tabs and developing is very very satisfying to watch. It triggers something inside me. Please do more videos. 😁

    I recently got this Camera from a Friend. The darkslide you pulled out before you loaded the film is supposed to go in the camera an then get pulled out. And the Shutter had to be pressed a couple of seconds for the Exposure control to do its thing. If you make a Picture in dark Conditions you can hear it. When you press the button and immediately let him go, the shutter also closes. When press and hold it for a couple seconds, you hear the shutter closing, meaning its ready for development (or do a double exposure). When it's dark you have to hold it longer. At least at my Camera (made a couple of test shots without a film loaded.)

    This is cool. I like weird, old things. Like these cameras. I like the slow, contemplative kind of pace of this video. It's relaxing, and helps me think about the camera after you've explained something. Very neat. Keep it up!! I subscribed. :D

    Hey, your video is pretty cool! I would love to see more videos on Polaroid cameras because myself is a Polaroid collector. I have got a bunch of 600 series cameras, a Spectra, and 2 SX-70's. I just want to see what other people think of those cameras. Too bad that Polaroid don't make films for those cameras anymore. TIP is pretty good, but I find it hard to shield the developing pictures from light.

    Great vid - what camera do you use to record? I love how effortlessly the auto-focus worked for you.

    • @lukeisafinename
      @lukeisafinename  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a Canon 70D, working with the 24mm STM lens. The autofocus works pretty well for the most part, but I'm still trying to figure out how best to use it.

    I´ll be honest, I think this was amazing. It´s a great first video! I subbed.
    I usually have no interest in cams at all but you kept my attention.
    If you want an opinion (not a complain!): I didn´t find it awkward, but you can improve these greatly if you just roll with your thoughts instead of jump cutting. It doesn't need to be perfect - best to be natural! But then again, you made more videos for YT than I, so who am I to say? =)

    Love it, subbed.
    Though I do have things to say.
    The focus on the camera you film on, was quite interesting, but it's not the biggest problem ever.
    Other than that I've got nothing to say other than things that will come to you automagically.
