We love our brothers and sisters around the world. Our Faith in Jesus Christ will stand preparatory us for the second coming of the Lord .We Love our brothers and sisters in Africa.
Lifting up, higher for all to hear and see this glorious Gospel message of love and inclusiveness. May we stand in unison as we pledge before our Lord to serve and lift one another that all may bask in His unconditional love.
This phenomenon in Africa will require the spiritual and economic resources of the entire church. Gird up your loins, fresh courage take, for God will never us forsake.
Wonderful. My son will be soon putting in his papers to serve a mission. It would be wonderful for him to serve and learn among such a beautiful people. My daughter is currently serving in Japan.
Love the Journals of Discourse... own the entire volumn. Even though its not considered scripture that is much to be learned from his words, that is if one does not cherry pick it to show negativity.
For some reason my phone is not letting me see your other comments :/, that might be a good thing though since I am super busy with school right now. I remember Brigham Young teaching mutual respect, and also I remember him speaking about both, people with bright countenance around them and people with dark countenance around them, it was pretty clear to me that what he meant didn't have anything to do with ethnicity since that aspect is meaningless in an Eternal perspective, and Biology support even the temporal idea behind.
It was a different time and culture back then...it was the time of slavery and men were a little more uncouth. The Church leaders were against that terrible condition of slavery which they fought against during the Civil War.
@The white J Cole It was about rights, not priesthood. It was more about equal rights than priesthood. That anti-Mormon bigotry of ''brigham young thought about blacks'' is just a bunch of spew from the anti-Mormon community to put themselves at ease. By the way, click on my name, view that first video. A video THAT DEBUNKED ALL OF THAT ANTI-BOOK OF ABRAHAM INFO from the bigots.
How I am to see the Temple in my home land RDC. As a Temple Ordinance worker in the Johannesburg Temple in South Africa, I'm very excited to go and enter in this Holy House of the Lord to perform sacred ordinances; And help others to enjoy and feel the spirit and the presence of God. My wife and I love the Temple and all save in the Temple what a blessing...
I see the hand of God rest on the land of Afrika. And i am so happy about because all i know of afrika is people living in dire poverty because of warring factions. The harvest is indeed tremendous actually. And i am proud to say that i have a son serving a missiob in our country. For there is no greater work than serving the lord. Now, God bless the land of afrika by turning it fruitful again devastated by famine. Some other people would say, "ah, these people had mostly no education." But i say, "They spirits that resides those temporal African bodies has the greatest of wisdom for they discern the truth though they may have less education a number of them.
I love it. As the church grows in countries with a lot of hardship, the more the people changes for the better, improve ,be more productive, more self reliant as we continue to be united in mind heart and strength. We can go everywhere and all we need to is to find the church.
Truly God loves all his children, It is a great feeling to me to know that in Africa the peoples are able to partake of the eternal blessings of God. We are truly all brothers in Christ.
