- This video is an OTB Recap from a tournament I played! This was the 6th round, which I went into with a score of 3.5/5. I played against an 1800 FIDE Rated Player, watch to find out what happens! :D

I'd already listened to this on stream - but it was so worth listening to it again. You explain things really well.
thankyou for watching :)))
Love the way you say “here”
hear
Thank you for showing me this line! I’ll be sure to prepare throughly in anticipation of our next encounter…
Thankyou for telling me that you will prepare this line thoroughly! I'll be sure to prepare a new line for our next encounter :D.

Glad to see that your prep paid off and that you got such a nice win. Well done! Hope you have a year of wins ahead of you.
Thankyou! always nice when things go to plan :’)
Sacrifice your queen in the next game
If you win your opponent will rage quit harder.
Hannah playing and winning these OTB games is incredibly inspiring, I'm super excited to see her get a title in the future! If this game is any indication of the future it won't take Hannah long to get that title.😁 P.S. 10002 Goose elo points where?
Fingers crossed! :D
Glad to see you steadily gaining ratings. You will hit 1700 in no time.
Thankyou!! I believe :D
You played an FM? Wow! I'd really love to see you analyse that game in a video too if possible?! :)
I did ! I analysed it on my livestream, it was a similar opening and I was able to reach an equal endgame (with a slight edge as black) with k + B +5p vs K + N + 5P, but unfortunately blundered under time pressure :’).
kinda wish engines weren't available to players. It's like, are you really playing chess?
that’s fair! However, the moves I played in theory weren’t engine recommendations, I brainstormed by going through master games (which is what players have been doing for many years). Engine actually calls Nd5 an inaccuracy, but I was able to find some nice ideas from master games. So I wasn’t just blindly following engine moves, I made sure I truly understood the position!
The preparation I made led me into a position where the engine thought I was worse but I had a comfortable position to play on for my own (I had never even seen the position after Be3 and had no preparation to rely on).
I understand where you are coming from though! Engines have definitely changed the way chess is played, especially at the high levels.
Another great video Hannah! Congrats on the W!
Also borderline concerned for your opponent. Resigning down an exchange is one level of tilt. Withdrawing from the tournament is another 💀
Glad you enjoyed it!
Ha she probably could have kept playing to try for a draw. But really good find to win the exchange!
Hey a new video! I sure hope Hannah’s opponent doesn’t play e4 and blunder an exchange!
Edit: She did
Great game. Again, love the accent!
Thanks again!

Congrats on the win! Great game.
Thankyou! and happy birthday :))
You deserve a million subs, you're so friendly/entertaining/smart/energetic/beautiful etc
Now on to the video (Thumbnail got me to click lol) ...
Gooooose opening gives me inspiration, like from China 🎉
You have really nice prep
Thank you! I try :)
Excellent.
Many thanks!
I think the thumbnail is a better profile picture than the present one. Just my opinion. Hope you will consider it.
thank you! it’s a nice one, the reason why I chose the current one was because I liked that it had the chess board in it too. I might update it soon to something new though 😊
GG!
💪💪💪
They are pawns, not paans. Thank you
