This saved my life. I was referred to this by a friend. I took 100mg thiamine hcl and became extremely fatigued/tired, but I kept up with it daily and in just a few days I had 0 intestinal pain. Usually I brace myself for massive cramping and discomfort throughout the day especially after eating. Every meal brings fear because of the torture I endured after eating, Along with a host of other issues. I felt like death many times especially after coffee or tea. The feeling I would always describe as a deficiency feeling but I had no idea what was actual wrong. This saved my life. I lost 10 years of my life to this. I had constant fight or flight and rarely ever left my home. Anytime I left home I was in a rush to get back and could never enjoy anything. It all now makes sense what happened to me. 10 years of suffering later and I was given another chance at life. Thank you so much

It's the first step in energy production in the cell. The cell has specialised function, if it can't get the energy it needs to go beyond the threshold for simply survival and then further for repair, then it won't get any better. That is where the B-vitamins, magnesium and other micro-nutrients come into effect.

Edit - I now think I had oxalate dumping symptoms which were relieved not by the benfo but by turmeric(high oxalate) milk that I had the same night as the 600mg Benfotiamine. I had the same problems a few months later when on carnivore diet(no oxalates) and the benfo didn't do anything but two squares of dark chocolate resulted in the pain disappearing. Hey mate.
My health and body is truly transforming. I am 70 years on this planet and relative to most guys my age am holding up pretty good. However I have had over recent years a decline in overall health.
At the time of researching thiamin I decided that I was going to start investing in Supernutrition. So apart from thiamin I have been taking many super supplements.
So I can't say that it was because of Thiamin that I am feeling so well
I have reversed a lot of my health issues and I am feeling probably the best for about 10 years.
I am living with HIV and have been taking medication that keeps me hiv "undetectable".
The big problem is that the medication has fucked up my general health and well being.
Most of those around be think I look 20-30 years younger, which is flattering but personally I know that my health has been deteriorating.
The decision to go SuperSup was the best decision I could have made.
Thiamiin I'm sure is contributing to my success story.
Only issue now is the cost of the Supersups.
All good investments to live a healthy vibrant life.
      Thank you for your interest.
Your post really helped understand the significance of Thiamin supplementing.
I will continue to include in my regime.
      Many thanks. Andrew

I noticed the advice to cut sugar. I did this myself a while ago and it has totally changed everything for the better.
Just cut the sugar out and lower the carbs. If its in a box, leave it on the shelf. Does it have a paragraph of ingredients? Shelf.
Buy produce and meat and spices. Use healthy oils like olive, not canola and soy. Learn to make it yourself.
Turns out, fast food is just not any faster unless you mean the path to death. I only wish I adopted this diet this sooner.
I'm sure my B1 and probably all vitamin absorption improved after being no sugar for a few months. I just felt... 'improved'
Yes and I went from obese to normal. I'm 50 now and I look than I did at 35. Don't wait.... cut out the sugar

@@ilfautdanser9121 Well Im not afraid now. I think there has been for many decades a campaign in America and probably elsewhere to avoid animal fats. I don't really use a lot of olive oil but I completely cut out soy, canola and grapeseed oil. Trying to get more into fish oil and even cod liver oil. It takes a while to get used to what you have been taught to avoid. Once you get going, its not that hard. Also, there ARE apparently bad olive oils out there so that is a problem. I have what I believe is a reputable source which costs more but again I rely on olive oil less and less. Also, since I don't eat junk food any more I have extra money to buy grass finished local meats and other high quality choices. Cheers!

I started low oxalate diet and only carb I eat was white rice. What happend is I had strange symptoms, but one of then was irregular heat beats and muscle burn out and weaknes. So, started to get more magnesium but symptoms got even worst! But I now know why. I was thiamine deficient because of low diatery thiamine plus white rice that deplete thiamine even more and thiamine needs magnesium to get fully activated. I also feel cold all the time. So, I ate some pork today and some beef liver, no rice. My body temperature goes up and I have more energy. Will see how will go long term.

I have suffered from the idiocy of the main stream media for nearly 70 years & now three days ago I heard about niacin B1 deficiency & all the things that it can imitate & nearly every issue I have suffered from over the years is on this list & yet the Australian government health site says that we get enough B1 in our diet!! I was a great vegemite eater until being diagnosed with gluten intolerance & so I now realise that the tiny amount I was getting each day from eating veggie spread was what was keeping things at bay. However, they discontinued the product due to low response they said of people buying it so I bought up the last bottles I could find in my local grocery stores, but ran out in early 2019 & so by the middle of 2020 I was unable to eat due to my food coming up & after nearly a week of this it suddenly clicked that the bile was sweet not bitter as it should be so I went back onto using my digestive enzymes of hydrochloric acid & pepsin in high doses to enable me to digest my food again. So I embarked on adding yeast flakes to my diet yesterday plus gluten free vegemite yukk!! As it tastes horrible in comparison to the normal variety. I am having it on brown rice cakes with butter to improve the taste. So for my breakfast this morning I had steamed vegetables with 2 tblesp yeast flakes & extra virgin olive oil plus Himalayan salt to make it all taste better as I again woke early with the nauseous feeling in my stomach of low stomach acid. Hopefully this time I have actually found the answer to my health issues. I suffer from hashimotos which is an autoimmune problem finally picked up by me some 10 years ago as the doctors/specialists here are clueless. Thank goodness for the internet & alternative health care professionals in other countries as Australia doesn't like us having a choice in the medical field.

This was extremely helpful. I've been having gastrointestinal and malabsorption problems (lactose intolerance and fructose malabsorption) for 10 years now. 5 Years ago I startet to have memory issues. They found out that I basically had no B12 in my body, even though I was taking supplements. After two years of injections and a dietary change my levels became normal, but the memory issues and brain fog where still there in lesser form. Despite supplements, my magnesiums levels where also very low. A month ago a friend told me about the memory issues of his mother and the fact that they were linked to a B1 deficiency caused by a gut operation. I collected some Information and started to take normal B1 supplements with magnesium. Already after two weeks the brain fog/short term memory issues got better.... as well as all my gastrointestinal issues. I wasn't expecting that at all (!!!). Hence, I went on the internet to look for an explanation and found your video. Thank you very much for your work, you did an amazing job and you're informing and helping a lot of people.
Edit April 2023: I got a hypervitaminosis of B1 during quarantine (I got covid in 2022). Since then I've been having horrible night terrors. It's like my brain is exploding with energy that then turns into restlessness and anxiety. Be very careful with vitamin B1! It accelerates the metabolism too much. I was following the protocol and yet this happened to me. I tried to contact EONutrition for advise, but it's hard to get at them. I'm in treatment at the neurologist. It's not fun and I have to avoid foods rich in B1.

Wonderful presentation, and so much information that I have to listen with pen and paper to help me absorb it all. I am wondering though about the synthetic forms of thiamine, wouldn't natural forms be better suited to correct deficiencies? The natural (low potency) forms used to be available where ever vitamins were sold, but for the last several years I haven't been able to find them. I realize your talk is on High potency B1, but it makes me think that if it were natural, would I need less

@@debrey9000 Back in the late 80's Country Life Vitamins had a Day-time and a Night-time vitamin pack, they were separate bottles but wrapped together. They were sold as low potency and mostly natural vitamins. They changed sometime in the 90's to a nearly all synthetic blend, now I think they are all synthetic. Other than those I have not found a truly natural form of B1 except in Brewers yeast. The trouble with Brewers yeast though is that by the time you get it most of the B1 has lost it's potency because it is being very sensitive to both air and heat. The best natural source is liver, you lose some in cooking but it's the best source I know of. Desiccated or freeze dried are the next best options in my opinion. I'm not a professional and not a doctor or anything but I do pay attention to how I feel and liver at least for me works the best for the muscle tone in my abdomen, and the strength of my intestines to keep them moving normally.

This video solved so many of my unexplained reactions to certain supplement and health problems.
    Solved:
-Bad digestion from low bile/stomach acid/Digestive enzymes
-Intolerance to any gaba/glutamate precursors due to lack of Glutamate decarboxylase enzyme
-intolerance to B6 supplement due to inability to activate it.
Another big one that is not explained in the video is that i can now also tolerate Zinc/copper supplements. Not sure yet about the mechanism behind this one but it sure is a welcome change!

In the following days after stopping it, the anxiety, depression and insomnia kept getting worse and worse.
I realised pretty quickly that i was experiencing refeeding syndrome.
I eventually reintroduced it at higher dose (100mg) and everything fell in place a couple of hour later .

My daughter has a complex medical history, and I wonder if b1 deficiency might be the root cause. Could susceptible to Rheumatic Fever, Sydenham Chorea, lyme, and coninfections, and Dysautinomia be related to b1 deficiency?
