My grandfather took me to Disneyland after my grandmother succumbed to cancer in an attempt to make me feel better. We went on this ride, and after we got off we stood on this bridge watching people get sprayed by the geyser at the end!
When I got on this ride with my family of four, another family of four came with us. I don't know how it happened, but throughout the whole ride and all the drops, I stayed pretty dry. We were right before we went under the bridge, and one of the daughters of the other family said: "Isn't there supposed to be a geyser or something?" AND RIGHT THEN, I MEAN SERIOUSLY, RIGHT AFTER SHE SPIT OUT THAT LAST SYLLABLE, the geyser blew up right on top of me and got me completely soaked. XD It was freaking seriously like someone did that on purpose.
Lol the same thing happened when I went on a water ride! one time I was at Seaworld San Diego, and I went on the river rapids ride there. And somehow, one of the kids on the raft stayed dry the whole time. And she was the ONLY one who was not wet. Then, right at the end of the ride, she said,"why haven't I gotten wet yet?"and the exact SECOND that she finished saying the last word of the sentence, the raft turned so she was facing backwards, and a giant wave splashed up and over her whole body and got her wet from head to toe! It was JUST LIKE your story!
+Isabel Riley on Pirates were you sitting in the front or the middle or back???? Cuz I went with my family in December it was my first time going on Pirates and we HAD to SIT in the FRONT and I got soaked I literally was the MOST wettest and I was in the middle of my parents and they kinda got wet I was like WHAT?!Now pirates is my FAVORITE ride and DISNEYLAND/DISNEYWORLD!!
One time when it was my brothers birthday we went to Disneyland and soon it became later in the day. My brother noticed that the lines for the grizzly Rapids were not filled at all, and we ended it up going on this ride 5 times XD
This has to be one of the best rapid rides in the world! Never seen such drops on one before and the surrounding is absolutely stunning. I hope I get to visit this sometime!
LOVE this ride!! Makes me miss having an annual pass. Whenever there was too long of a wait on my other favorite rides like Radiator Springs Racers, then I would just get a single rider's pass and go on this (my parents don't like wet rides, they just did other things). The single rider's line is usually like 5-10 minutes, though they do sometimes stop giving out the passes if there are too many people. I love going as a single rider because you always meet fun people, I got on a ride with a group of college students and they were hilarious!! I would always ride this until every spot on my clothing was wet, and that was like 5 times in a row with BARELY any wait. Score!! If you want to know where the single rider's passes are, there should be employees standing in the middle of the big grizzly bear statue and the main rider's entrance. Just ask them if they have any--if they're holding what looks like green cards, they're probably it!
BellinghamsterTrail 6 minutes :) ..and really worth riding in the off season when there's little to no line. Just ride it last so you can go get warm in the car on the way home.
I see he is practicing Social distancing. He's the only one on the boat. Leave it to Disney Imagineers to turn a run of the mill white water rafter ride into an amazing adventure. A great ride.
the first time i rode this i was 10 and terrified of rollercoasters (still kind of am). it was our last day, so we decided to wait in the enormous line. well, waiting made me more nervous and i had to go to the bathroom SO BAD. when we finally got on, we hit a rock and i hit my face on my mom's shoulder and pinched the corner of my eye with my glasses. i was crying almost the entire time out of fear, nerves, pain, and the immense need to go to the bathroom, but i still had an amazing time!! such a great ride!!! and so amazing in the evening :)
I'm going with my friends to DISNEYLAND and its gonna be their like...first time going there, oh I'm gonna be laughing my head off when they ride CALIFORNIA screamin, tower of terror, and other rides
One time when I was little when my mom was waiting for the parade to start, my brother and I rode this thing 11 times in a row, and I tell you, after 11 times of grizzly river run straight, it still kicks the most ass.
This ride looks fantastic! Once you break away from other riders (for the most part), it's like you have the rapids all to yourself! Perhaps it's because you were by yourself in the raft, but it appears to be a bit rougher than you might expect. Love it!
Such a fun ride.....and beautiful....night or day! Part of the fun is sharing your raft with strangers. Because you all face each other, you more closely share your experience and reactions.......you kind of get to know each other a little. Fun stuff!
I watched this video before since I was going to Disneyland a couple weeks later but I only watched the beginning of the video😂 I went to Disneyland yesterday and I rode this ride, I didn't know about the big drop at the end!😂 I'm scarred for life!👍🏻 I'm a big wimp when it comes to big rides, so I got dizzy and scared after riding the ride😂(and soaking wet)
this was the first ride me and my friends went on, when we got to Disneyland. I was in high school and I was a senior and it was grad night for seniors and I had blast.
stardust1298 Yeah they were good times for me. Trust me when I saw don't take what little time you have left there for granted. Appreciate all the little time you have left in high school, It'll make it more fun and memorable. I hope you have a blast there. and I hope just like mine, yours will be a night to remember.
I remember when my friends and I went to Disney for a school trip and we all rode this for the first time, we had to ride with an old army vet and I felt so bad he was by himself but he was so nice and we talked to him the whole time and he told us what was going to happen next on the ride so we weren't too scared.
dude, subscribed. the fact that you'd be willing to ride this alone that late of day means you've got power man lol everytime i want to go on that late everyone thinks i'm crazy!
pro tip: on this ride, bring a trash bag for your back pack to put in, a trash bag to put your legs and feet it, and a poncho, if you don't want to get wet. (usually wet socks can make you uncomfortable for the rest of your trip at disney sometimes!)
Great ride...*never* crowded in the winter months. BTW, I've ridden plenty of these circular raft rides in other parks and I personally feel this is the best I've been on.
this ride brings back so many happy memories. I remember right before the park closed me and my brother went on this ride and we were the only ones on. Then we got soakin wet
I remember when I was younger, I used to hate Grizzly Rapids and get scared of it. then our passes expired and I was so heart broken I hadn't gone on this. but now, thankfully my aunt got the job at Disneyland. I will be going soon and DEFFANITLY riding this.
One time, me and my friends were all at my friends birthday party so we slept over night at the hotel, which meant we got early access into the park. That was AMAZING! I have never seen any "white water rapids" ride like that! I've been on some at theme parks that definitely compete with Disney, but man, this blew them out of the water! Haha :P It was beautiful at night, and the waterfalls were phenomenal. I like how much the seats were bobbing!
Love the scenery and the ride. I just wish they add some animal animatronics along the ride or give it a proper story with all the show scenes along the ride.
There is nothing like a relaxing river ride on the Grizzly River Run on a beautiful night at the California Adventure part and the Disneyland Resort in Anahiem in California!

I'm going to Disneyland in a month I mean less than a month I last went there at three and wouldn't even go on this ride 😂 I'm so excited to have a lot more fun than last time I'm really really happy 😊

I am really sorry for your grandma :( Hope that you had fun and great day in Disney!
Oh I m really sorry about grandma
...are u feeling k now?
My grandmother and dad both died of cancer and i got a google cardboard and a phone to watch all thede awesome rides in VR!

I guess this is the secret to staying dry on river rapid rides is this-don't MENTION the fact that you haven't got wet yet lol😉👍🏻
When I went to Disney world, I got more wet on Pirates of the Caribbean than splash mountain
Isabel Riley Were you sitting in the back on Splash Mountain?
+Isabel Riley on Pirates were you sitting in the front or the middle or back???? Don't mind getting wet on a ride but hate sitting on wet seats on a ride that you get wet on
Also this is nothing compared to real rafting but you don't have a risk of drowning in this sooo
Omg Yess 😂😂
Mr Handy Conservation Society yeah that parts annoys me too
omg so true wet seats are so gross and annoying i can totally relate
AGREED!!
Being with other passengers:
Other rides: Whatever.
Grizzly River Run: Willing to die for each other if you have to.
:P
lol Sometihng about being on a raft makes everyone closer XD For that next 5-8 minutes...you are all family. XD
I agree!
That's true
Why is this so true?!
Mizzy Jaymes yes
Damn when a boat is stopped in front of you it hurts like hell when you bump into them
He was by himself.
Liek if u cri everytiem
Do I get a kit Kat for evri lik
Bleach that's cool tho also because you have the whole thing to yourself 😍🙃😋☺️
Bleach ,uThe e the same thing as a result of an old lady in a row and
Bleach - he was a solo rider.
Angela Fowler b
Every time I go on that ride I always go backwards on the big drop 😂
I do to lol

Y r u forever alone on dat ride

It is sad to be alone on that ride with no one to talk to!!!!

alot of people think that the circle bar that you're supposed to grab on think that its to spin it lol😜😜
I always think that when ever I see those in rides XDD
:p
No it's not.
No you can't spin a water attraction. It's just to grab onto
+Melody Swifty
I don't know how they could possibly think that but, whatever.
This has to be one of the best rapid rides in the world! Never seen such drops on one before and the surrounding is absolutely stunning. I hope I get to visit this sometime!
Awesome Aendeulyu I'm going to visit in February, cant wait!!!:D
I feel bad. the person filming the video is riding this all alone lol.
I agree, being in a group, even with random people is part of the fun xD
My favorite part is how when you go near the end and there is a raft already there and bump into it they all look at you like it was your fault.

The whole grizzly peak area is so well done, props to you Dsiney
Seems longer and better themed than the one at Disney's Animal Kingdom. More small drops and chances to get wet! Thank you for the video.
The ride seemed so short but Disney does a great job of decorating their rides and sets.
short? It's the fastest, longest, tallest rapids ride in the world.
Tommy Lamm and its the Expensive in the world.
That changes everything! Sign me up, I want to ride the Grizzly River Run Now!
I just don't like waiting 3 hours to ride a 2 minute Dizney Ride.
BellinghamsterTrail 6 minutes :) ..and really worth riding in the off season when there's little to no line. Just ride it last so you can go get warm in the car on the way home.

I’m flying to Disneyland today!!! Grizzly river run is my absolute favourite ride!!!
I love how they are always reminding parents to supervise their children! This looks like one of the best

Probably my favorite rapids ride, the scenery here is absolutely stunning, and the drops are exhilarating
The camera gets whiped around too quickly. I got dizzy
The scenery is pretty (especially in the evening).
I love this ride I didn't care if I got wet or sick I still enjoyed it this is from a hardcore fan of this ride XD
Grizzly River Run is the most beautiful Rapid River I´ve been on until now! :)
Knott's has a good one too. I haven't been on this one.
omg...i love this ride
56 times to disneyland still get on this ride
I'm going with my friends to DISNEYLAND and its gonna be their like...first time going there, oh I'm gonna be laughing my head off when they ride CALIFORNIA screamin, tower of terror, and other rides
Brooklyn Haze Which park, "Disneyland Resort" or "California Adventure"?
GameCheater803 In my opinion, I like Disneyland cause there are a lot more rides, but if your more of a thrill person, I suggest California Adventure
GameCheater803 Disneyland Park* California Adventure and Disneyland Park are both on the Disneyland Resort.

I’m going to Disneyland this weekend, so I’m binge watching my favourite rides, gotta love the grizzly river run!
One time when I was little when my mom was waiting for the parade to start, my brother and I rode this thing 11 times in a row, and I tell you, after 11 times of grizzly river run straight, it still kicks the most ass.

Contrary to what the others have said it is NOT CLOSED!
This ride is a landmark of California Adventure! They should never take it down!
It cracks me up how calm the filmer is! I'd be screaming every time I got splashed with cold water!
same
i love the way you record your videos. you let the ride speak for its' self, and you don't speak of the ride all the time. Awesome vids dude!
I didn't get dizzy going on the ride. You don't spin fast so the ride has never made me sick.
Surfer voiceover: please don't enjoy the ride watch your kids cause we don't wanna law suit aaaalllllriiigghhttt
Such a fun ride.....and beautiful....night or day!

This ride would be a lot cooler if Disney added some cool animatronics.
I would not like that because it rly creepy especially on splash mountain.
David Herrick no.
it dosn't need animatronics
this was the first ride me and my friends went on, when we got to Disneyland. I was in high school and I was a senior and it was grad night for seniors and I had blast.
Richer Breault this ride is in California adventure, which is right next to Disneyland :)
jose perez grad nite is this Saturday for me, and our school is taking us there.. time is too fast 😭

Ride looks amazing! I like the fact that Disney is constantly refurbishing their attractions.
Never got to do this, and I have always wanted to go on this ride.
At nights the best time to ride! No lines and I love all the lights at night. Although it is a bit chilly after you get off. :)
dude, subscribed. the fact that you'd be willing to ride this alone that late of day means you've got power man lol everytime i want to go on that late everyone thinks i'm crazy!
Perfect time to do the ride. You can see all all the lights. Great video.

Pretty at night. Thanks for sharing. xoo
Dude respect on holding that camera still especially on the wavy parts
I can watch a movie in the amount of time this line takes
I love this ride and it is so peaceful but has an eerie feeling when riding alone
this ride brings back so many happy memories. I remember right before the park closed me and my brother went on this ride and we were the only ones on. Then we got soakin wet
It's pretty cold at night. It's a lot more fun during the day when it's hot!
Only got to ride it once last year; it is just beautiful at night. I must try this when we go this year.
Thankyou for including the que! I like getting the whole experience!
This is like Kali River Rapids at Animal Kingdom at Disney World! :) One of my favorite rides at Disney World!
Its almost the same this is just longer and has a different theme
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS, YOU PREPARE ME!!
The whole ride before 5:40 is so calming with all the water sounds and nature, and then the random yell at 5:42 scared me 😂
I remember when I was younger, I used to hate Grizzly Rapids and get scared of it. then our passes expired and I was so heart broken I hadn't gone on this. but now, thankfully my aunt got the job at Disneyland. I will be going soon and DEFFANITLY riding this.
This is a nice little ride at night. It's a great view, and it's pretty fun!
this ride brings good times.... awesome times...
I picture Mr Bean at the end of the ride zzzing off and holding his camera in one hand... camera man was so quiet maybe it was Mr Bean.
The one attraction i never wanted to go on . Thanks !
It was after it opened from refurbishment. It was a bit chilly outside so that's why the line was empty.
sounds like fun im trying to watch all the disney land ride before i go this summer THANX>-
Wow you manage to keep the camera pretty stable great work!
thank you for posting this, i hope to come back to Disneyland soon
One time, me and my friends were all at my friends birthday party so we slept over night at the hotel, which meant we got early access into the park. I love your videos!
Thanks for sharing our video! Let us know if you have any ride requests.
Ps. What's your favorite Disney ride?
***** Peter Pan. xD
***** Autotopia Of course it is the best one

There is nothing like a relaxing river ride on the Grizzly River Run on a beautiful night at the California Adventure part and the Disneyland Resort in Anahiem in California!
I love this ride especially the drop.

This ride is so fun on a summer night. You can’t see anything!!!
I've wanted to ride this at night and now that i got a feeling for how it looks im so excited to try it this summer when i go! :)
I plan on taking my friends with me to Disneyland for their first time and I know I am going to be dying of laughter when I take then on this ride
I’m always too scared to ride on these rides, so I watch TH-cam videos of them :D
Thanks so much for these helpful videos! I really like to see the video before I go on the ride! 😃
I love this ride a lot
This is such a beautiful ride.
Ahhh thx for the video! I'm going to Disneyland and California Adventure this summer and i want to see what the ride are there! I'm so exited, but nervous cuz i am kinda a woos when it comes to water rides. I hate them cuz i hate getting wet. lol srry i talk too much! Bye :)
I can’t go to Disney land right now, so I’m here watching these videos 😢😢
That was an okay ride. I'll do it next year when I get out there.
i want to cry at the thought of him on that ride all alone.
Nice ride very creative thought behind the idea of it.
Nothing short of fanastics
Been on this ride a grand total of 2 times. First time got completely drenched, second time dry as a bone. I figure ive experienced the full range this ride has to offer. :)
Great video, looks like a lot of fun.
Great thing about having 4 brothers is that on these rides it is only family and we always bet on who is going to be the most soaked by the end
I'm going to Disneyland in a month I mean less than a month I last went there at three and wouldn't even go on this ride 😂 I'm so excited to have a lot more fun than last time I'm really really happy 😊
