His "Velazquez and the Royal Family" or "Las Meninas"). When he brought in the dwarf, which is in the painting, I was certain that was Wilde's inspiration
Poor Oscar Wild - such sad stories. Now The Picture of Dorian Grey feels different. How did he see his inner self? - groping for acceptance at times? Especially after that horrific time in jail with those revolving steps of torture, which weakened him and killed him. We all have times of self torture. We all have times of joy. We all get along well contented or slightly angry or depressed. I hope he was happier than these stories. Maybe they expressed those feelings for him and made him feel better - I hope. He did write that wonderful tale of The Selfish Giant :) 🍑🌷🌱 Pretty well read by the robot voice. 🍭
