Giant Sturgeon Everywhere

My buddy Henry and I travel to the Wolf River in New London, WI. We catch a couple fish and check out the sturgeon spawn on the Sturgeon Trail.

Thanks for watching the channel. We are both amateur walleye fisherman. Henry is from the south and he is great at catfishing and crappie fishing. I'm a bass and northern guy.

Is the sturgeon trail protected or can you fish them?

I'm not sure, you can't keep any. As far as I know, you can catch them, take a quick pic, and release. I'm not sure if you can fish exclusively for them when they are spawning but they eat the same stuff as everything else. Jig and crawler.
