  • Ben Kaye is the recipient of an Attitude Pride Award in 2021 in recognition for overcoming chemsex addiction and the work he has done since to help others. He spent years feeling lost, alone and unhappy in his own skin, constantly wanting to change the way he felt. Drugs and sex became his escape. But one journey to Bournemouth would change his life forever. A remarkable story of one man learning to accept, embrace and love who he was always meant to be.

Everyone has a story to tell but what can we learn from other people’s stories to enrich our own lives? Former BBC newsreader Rory Smith secretly battled mental health issues for most of his life so he knows what adversity feels like. He set up his podcast to interview people who share their stories to help others. Rory asks the questions no one else will to challenge your thinking about the world, give you the unique opportunity to learn life transformative lessons and amplify the voices of those fighting for meaningful causes and injustices

Another belter of an interview, Rory. It was so interesting, as I can relate to some of the heady days of being gay in the 70's and 80's. Well done again ❤
