You can use the camera independently from the action pod, but you need the action pod to charge the camera. If you left the action pod at home you could run out of battery half way through the day.
I’ve watched dozens of Go3 videos and yours is the most comprehensive in explaining the different settings. For this reason I subscribed even though the background conversation was very annoying for a tech video.
Can you save those manual settings in the pro-mode permanently after the camera turned off? The bad thing about Go2 was that I need to keep adjusting the settings through the mobile app. No GO for me (pun intended). Is it through presets?

you did not really explain the quick capture and GO button setings. What is the difference? It is the same button. I have mine set for double press for photo but it still takes a video so I don't understand what the purpose it
Don't buy this camera! They have serious quality control issues. I bought one and it was so buggy it was unusable. I sent it back today for a refund. I will never buy anything from this company. Buyer beware!
My friend also faced connectivity and charging issues , reason being he didn’t peel off the sticker from the camera pod which restricts connectivity and charging
The angle adjusting wedge goes to the back of the pendant. If you attach to the front the camera isn't held securely.

How do you remove the shot with insta 360 go 3, from your videos??
Go into the 360 app. Go to settings. Under app settings you’ll a button toggle the watermark on or off.

In the settings section of the app you can toggle the watermark off or on.

No one every shows how to set the lock horizon, which are home will allow you to turn the camera and all directions and still stay on the horizon.
Have you had any sound desync problems yet?
I’ve just finished testing it over the few weeks. I didn’t have any sound issues.

lol skill issue. Insta360 products have good quality control what are you on. prob a delivery fault more than anything XD
