I think it could be that the russian are trying a elastic defense tatctic in the kursk defensive. The ukrainians advance very deep, and then get ambushed so far in russian lines that they cant retreat without a fast vehicle. Which means those losses are completly lost, because they wont be able to be Evacuated quickly, or make it back to ukrainian lines
My thoughts too. Ukraine has only so much man power they can actually put into this front too and to hold land that has no fortifications is as seen in this war, a death sentence. The Ukrainians won't be able to defend well once the Russians get their act together too
Ukraine has already lost 1200 to 1600 and over 20 armored vehicles. Ukraine thinks control means nobody is there..yet.. to shoot at them😂😢

@@rupok90 Kursk has over 400.000 people Ukraine never captured a city at this scale. Especially not in Russia.
Just to re-phrase a bit. The main strongholds are cities. Kursk has one big city but the rest of it really looks less populated than Donbass, meaning less strongholds. Easier to capture, harder to hold. Ukraine attacked there because of the geographic weakness of this front. Russia didn't strengthen it - because of the same reason. Ukraine made a grave mistake to come in to the dent of the bear. Nothing good can happen for them. It will be purely impossible to take Kursk. They are already late.
Interesting points. On a topic of less populated Do look on google maps that region majority of the villages look as one street with a few 1-2 store private houses on it. Then we hear that bold claims that 75 villages captured.

I honestly do not get it. They opened another front, while they were literally getting walked over on the most important Donetsk front. Russians keep adding more forces in Kursk, for how long AFU think they will have that joyride? It will end no matter what they try.
Joyride indeed
so-called pro-Ukrainians can gladly ride joyrides. they do not care how ukrainian reserve forces disposed at Kursk front, and do not care battered ukrainian defensive positions at donbass fronts. they literally didn't had some fresh soldiers or equipments for months, and they jealously look at Kursk gambit. while russian forces advancing to them.
I honestly do not get it. They continue attacking on the same front, while they are literally getting walked over within their own borders. Ukrainians keep adding more forces in Kursk, for how long do the Russians think they can joyride in Donetsk? It will end no matter what they try.
See, I can do it too.
It might be a feint, or more likely it is intended to force Russia into another mobilisation, which would be a disaster for Putin. Russia has just asked for a prisoner exchange, reversing it's previous position, so manpower shortage is just as serious for Russia as for Ukraine, but for different reasons.
Ok, we now all know the Kursk Offensive was to basically "bring the slugfest onto Russian soil" and little more. So the tactical is not all that interesting since there is really no point other than to create mayhem on RU land. However, the *strategic repercussions* are far more interesting. Please start spending a little time talking about that..."
You do realize the impact on the psyche of Russian civilians and their view of the govt. Not only that the optics of Russia as it stands on the world stage as incompetent. Also it gives more reason for the west to continue to give weapons to Ukraine. And the hope of allowing them to make long range strikes. So yes it was a Hail Mary but it is paying dividends.
Russia will now be forced to waste troops and resources securing their entire border. It's a big border.
Thats the point, i think the same too. After Rammstein there was a silence about "UA Mission Forces" but it has decided. Its a simple lie, that US get no info, minimum they gave info - otherwise such op. can be a total disaster. Intel, surprise, logistics...like a Battle of Bulge... Sirsky and UA were too confident - "we found the solution to..." Without western interwention there is no victory. West decided itself by all means against Russia. This OP brougth the war to RU land with a very good precision and planning. Nato make the next step to ww3. They use the slow reaction time of RU. They will, probably and full scale war declaration. Counter it, UA Mission Forces can send based on two sided agreements. IF Kursk NPP will sized, RU may decide towards escalation. Nato will respond...I think, this whole story just a Trigger for a much worst for all of us.

Incorrect. The US ''started'' the war in 2008 by building a NATO quality army in Ukraine to provoke and attack Russia ''to the last Ukranian...for as long as it takes'', via the US-organised regime change in Ukraine in 2014.
Same rhetoric as the European media, it means that the information is only Ukrainian, and they always tend to exalt their version. From a journalist of the Russian front, the Ukrainian incursions are detected by satellites, and inserted into the air terminals, which intervene and turn off the incursion. The villages are assaulted by Ackmath troops together with men of the Armenian division, who clean them one after the other. The captures are entrusted to the men of the FSB who pick them up and take them to a first command near Kursk, where they will be judged as terrorists.
The news I'm getting are coming from Russian government itself. And the situation is bad, with over 100k people relocated, emergency situation declared in 2 regions. Ukrainians captured 100 Russian soldiers.

You need to tell the Military Summary channel this, he's getting a bit hysterical with his hot takes on the Kursk incursion.
To differentiate between 'active presence' and 'control' is a double standard. All the red marked area on Russian side is also just 'active presence'. If it was 'control' no DRG would be able to pass through.
So either make all the red area (except for cities) transparent or you just get rid of this one-sided interpretation of events.
@hendri-juliuslange5446 No double standard, bro..Ukrainians are jumping out of APC's, planting flags, getting relocated then setting small scale traps, before jumping back into APC's again. Lol. "Limited special military operation"- putin
reminds me of the Tet offensive...political win, military defeat.
This will end up being a training ground for new drone operators in Russia. One couldn't imagine such an opportunity for the Russian military.
can you put some more videos on Gaza and the situation there please
I see "if your enemy makes mistakes don't tell them" but still Russia should really stabilize the front.
Why aren't they doing that
Because they have no fortifications in the area and all of the reserves got moved to other sections of the front.
People should ask Gerasimov why this debacle happened to begin with.
@@ArmaDino22Russia has a large reserve. Only Russia knows its own mind. Since the beginning of this SMO all you’ve done is project and presume 😂
Alexander Mercouris claims that as per his reliable source, the Russians were aware of the Ukrainian plan about incursion in the Kursk Oblast. This appears strange and untrue. If that is true, why were the Russians well prepared and why are the Russians badly struggling and unable to oust the Ukrainians? What is your take on this claim?
Is it just me, or is the title on the thumbnail 3D?
Considering how many "foreign mercenaries" are involved, you should probably say "NATO forces" rather than Ukrainian forces
👍
Remember the so called Krynki offensive?... Yeah...
