If only we had kept Brooklands circuit here in the UK instead of hacking bits off it, It would have been a terrific place to go. Montlhéry is a very impressive place with a fabulous line up of vehicles , well worth a visit
Tony and Pam, wonderful. Thank you for this splendid video showing the cars of the past. A great event that, while In France, a long way away, we can participate from your video and photos.
I was there and it was a great event. But the heroes were the owners of the Beast of Turin and another 20s land speed record car- who drove them both there on the public roads from Bristol! Really unbelievable, they should have made a documentary about just that.
Morning Richard. She is called the "Beast of Turin" see this link. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiat_S76_Record The most impressive thing is to watch the driver/owner starting her on the starting handle. When she pulls away from a standing start you see the flames from the exhaust, hear the rumble and she accelerates the revs hardly change but she moves away very quickly. A really impressive motorcar.
Absolutely wonderful!! I love these autos. These were the true good ole days!! Thank you for the video.

What is the use of looking at these wonderful cars without anyone telling you what they are
What a wonderful show, what a pity no one bothered to say what they were
No battery cars yet, I noted.
screw all batt cars , we need more old stuff on the road instead !
