Absolutely Love the flags. But I do have to just mention Proper flag etiquette; when a flag is hanging like the one on your hanger, the stars should always be in the upper left side corner. Yours is hanging backwards. As the daughter of a military veteran, this is something I always point out to people. I think it's important, but I love your channel. I love everything you do and these flags are inspirational

I noticed that too. As the daughter of a veteran, flag protocol was always important. My solution for you: just turn it around backwards. You will see the hanger more and not where you are hot glued! I so love your channel and watch it every time there is new content. You are very talented and so is your husband! Love the flags. ♥️💙
I also noticed on the metal flag the stripe right below the blue square is supposed to be white.

I love the roofing flag. Having just done a "flag" on a wood piece in the shape of the US, I would say spray paint the whole thing white first, minus blue section, then do red stripes. I didn't do it that way, but next time I think I will. Love your flag!

Your flags are so beautiful! When I used to make the metal flags, I would use a white paint pen and free hand draw on stars and fill them in. It was a little more primitive or that perfectly imperfect look we all love.

Wow just started the video and right off the bat I made a flag last year using ribbons on a dollar tree flag on a dowel rod 😂❤used fabri tac glue to glue the red white and blue ribbons

Love the metal flag! I bought a piece of galvanized metal at Walmart and decopaged Royce's chicken feed sack onto it! It turned out so cool! I may have to try a flag like yours now! Thanks for the inspirations! Keep them coming! 😊

Awesome! Beautiful it is. I’m sure there was some frustrating moments working on that galvanized in making a gorgeous flag but knowing you it was a challenge you enjoyed very much. It really turned out so good. Loved the idea with the material in making a patriotic flag. Growing up we called them wind socks. What a clever idea you did. I think I could be inspired to make one. Don’t have any large galvanized as I would love to try doing that too.

We had a local gentleman that made corn hole sets for Christmas gifts on year. He brought each set to my daughter who made and applied custom vinyl decales for each set including the family name. He sealed them after the vinyl was applied.

I would have to make some of the stripes on the left shorter to balance out the right! I love it and am looking in my fabric stash to see if I have anything that would work. I may not be happy with my options next to your blue!
You did a great job on both. I have done a similar fabric flag, and a flag on old wood but not galvanized tin. It turned out beautifully. I used a stencil for my stars, worked out well, time consuming but worth it. xx

I made a metal flag like this more than 20 years ago. To make the stars i sponge painted them. It gave me that rustic look i was looking for.
It was a star shaped sponge. No stencil used.
Wing it...tweak it and waalaa! You made it your own. I'd like to do the metal signs too but don't have a better half to help like you do. Nicely done! 😊

Your flag looks great. Years ago I did the flag design on a bench and didn’t have a cricut for the stars. Thankfully my dad was good at math to help with the placement ❤
