Really interesting video. This shit is the toughest part of sports and it is really interesting to get a window into it. Hopefully will give the fans who bag on players who can't stay healthy pause to realise these people are human beings who have worked harder than most of us will ever work to play League. Good on you boys, wishing you a healthy season next year. All of you. I will say that I am really looking forward to Welchy and Paps being back just because of how long they were out for. I'm not even a Storm fan and I can see that Welchy is the beating heart of this Storm team, to see the emotion in his face being ruled out as captain speaks volumes.
We have been fortunate enough to have had many a superb player pull on the melbourne jersey. Proud of you all. Paps is one of the best, good luck with your recovery.
2023 will be our year. I remember when watching Christian’s interview when he mentioned about his mum crying I did too but they all will be back and stronger next year. We all believe in them so much
@@damienkearns5748 I didn’t meant it like that 5th is amazing and I go for the storm I meant we played not the best we did the last 2 years and it was mostly papi and Welch and Jennings all getting injured that put us in a bad place for 2022 but I love the team it’s an amazing club
I'm a Sharks fan but I love the Storm. I have FULL faith in Bellyache, Welsh, Paps, Harry, Nelson, Jehrome, Munster, Meany, Oates. Olam, Smith and more. Go hard and good luck (with no injuries) for 2023.
Melbourne made? Name 1 current storm player that was born and raised in Melbourne, worked his way through grass roots footy in Melbourne until he was signed by the storms. That's right. None Even 2 feeder clubs (both in qld) isn't enough for the club, they seem to have first pick from any qld cup team and besides that you sign talented juniors from other clubs and still have to rely on 3rd party payments and cheating the salary cap to stay competitive. This club is an absolute black stain on the competition but luckily for you storm is in the heart of afl land who the nrl are trying to compete with so they'll always have your back
@@philmurdoch1203 i mean there was no hate in what I said, just facts but i get your point. No banging your head against the wall, right? Coz it won't matter anyway, the nrl and storm fans will just try and ignore the truth. Good point phil murdoch
@@rickywilson5225 look, they cheated the cap back in the 2000’s what’s the point in carrying on about it. You want to know why people keep going to the storm, it’s cause they’re a quality side and Bellamy is a quality coach. And if they have the money to legally obtain those players, then that’s good managing by the storm
@@X-Calibur101 well the point in carrying on about it is that it wasn't just a breach of the salary cap, it was a deliberate and systematic rort with 2 payment books for the players, and just like with all their dirty tackling and wrestling techniques (some which have been outlawed), they haven't learned from their mistakes, they've just developed different ways of being grubs. So what makes you think they stopped extra payments for the players and not developed different ways to not get caught. There's a reason why they have a good team. Bellamy I'll give it to you, undeniably a good coach. But the main point I made is about none of the players being Melbourne made which you can't argue coz they just buy them, then pay them extra plus buy them boats or rings for their wives
@@rickywilson5225 We ignore nothing. We are a club that recognises that football is professional and that clubs and players have to do the best deal they can for themselves. We just lost two young brothers who have come through our development program. A hooker and a half. They understand that their path to the top would be harder if they stayed at the Storm . Much like Nicho. The cap only benefits clubs with juniors for about 1contract of senior football. Prove your worth and the club you have played all your life for can no longer afford you. It’s the cap’s fault not clubs. You want to criticise Storm for not producing first graders, and we have produced some, but we don’t have a hundred years of history yet. But we will.
