Ozzy Alek And DJ charging without hesitation into a barn full of terrifying lunatics wearing walker skins on their faces to save a bunch of complete and utter random strangers is perhaps the most heroic thing anyone on the show has ever done 4 years later and it still saddens me that they died but we will never forget their final act that they died as heroes.
Enid and Tara’s deaths were the most devastating to me in this episode. Even though Tammy was only the show very shortly hats off to the actress because her death was impactful to me too.
Back when Andrew Lincoln (Rick) left the show I remember thinking that there will never be another speech quite like his because he’s a goddamn master at delivering those Avi Nash (Siddiq) proved me wrong Honestly his speech makes me more ready eyed than the pike scene itself Watching all of those people fighting for each other instead of running away for their own lives it just rips my heart out And kudos to Ozzy Alek (The lead Highwaymen) and DJ (Ex Savior guy) They sacrificed their own lives for people they met like a day or two ago What Legends.

For me the best part of this episode is the fact that when Daryl Carol Michonne and Yumiko head out they are the ones seemingly in danger In the pitch black of the woods the monstrous Beta and other Whisperers appear It seems as if they are the ones about to die But it’s actually the ones back home who seems happy and gleeful at the beginning of the reconciliation of the communities that are in the most danger as Alpha walks amongst them To me that aspect of the episode was just perfectly put together The writers created a masterpiece with this one And the whole pike scene is just gut wrenching to watch specifically when Carol sees Henry.

Strongly disagree. 7x1 was the most traumatic piece of visual media I've ever watched. I still remember how sick I felt, and that feeling stuck with me for the rest of the day. The sheer brutality, the shock of losing two major characters, but most of all just the feelings of despair and hopelessness clearly seen on everyone's faces. Carl's death was so sad especially because they dedicated an entire episode to it, saying goodbye and everything. It was certainly the most shocking deaths in the show. Came out of absolutely nowhere and smacked us in the face. I was sad about Tara and Enid and was sad for Carol, but none of the characters that died made my top 10 list, like Glenn, Abraham, and Carl all certainly did.
Alpha knew the name Michonne cause she heard jerry and nabila talking about being surprised she came. When she asked Michonne her name in the woods, she was able to realize who she was, put a face to a name so to speak, lol.
This is the one shocking look on carols and others faces as they approach top of the hill bye to some old characters 😢 the hell fair has arrived ten out of ten
This and 9x05 are my favourite of this Season Tara and Enid almost hit as hard as Glenn and Abraham except this time there were 8 more people It’s implied that more of the Whisperers somehow infiltrated the fair to lure/kidnap them all that’s why when Alpha met Daryl Carol Michonne Yumiko she wiped blood off her blade and said she ran into some trouble on the road. Also in the original source material (Comic Spoiler) there were actually 12 pike victims and the two major ones were Rosita and Ezekiel Fans like myself were so nervous when Ezekiel started escorting Alpha around the Kingdom and thought Gabriel could have been talking about Rosita and not Tara when he asked Eugene if she knew where he was I loved your reactions.
I had been spoiled in part by people who read the comics. I knew there were going to be heads on s.pikes. They said it would be Ezekiel so they were surprised by Henry. It was a tough episode.
This episode hurt. My favorite character, Tara. Enid, so much promise. Ozzy, so much potential to be an awesome character. Tammy, who finally got to be happy again. D.J the redeemed savior, and so on. That barn scene with them fighting back was devastating because for all their team efforts and fighting back, we know they'll eventually be overpowered and killed. Negan's entry episode was this big buildup of our crew slowly realising they're being herded by a bigger group who controls their every move. You feel defeated with them. This episode, though. It's a general feeling of 'what's she gonna do' dread, because you know Alpha is NOT gonna accept these people taking HER daughter away from them. She can't both for personal reasons and her maintaining her status as Alpha. She repays slights most harshly. That scene where the Whisperers takes down the prisoners but Henry is basically left alone until Alpha herself goes for him. She wanted that kill more than anything. (also poor brave Enid, who it seems had to fight Beta) Extra devastating is you can see Whisperers surrounding subdued people in the background. Great reaction!
I knew from the comics but was worried if they'd have the same people. But so mad Enin! They already took Carl and was giving Henry his storyline with Lydia. Why? The Whisperers - even in the comics - could come off as somewhat corny (and over the top).. and they did for a good while on the show. I wasnt sold on them as villains until this episode.
I removed u guys watching fear the walking dead , also in tales the walking dead there is on episode called dee and it shows more of her backstory and where she got the whisper ideas from . Each episode in tales the walking dead is a different person so where else in the world
Now I feel like Alpha is so much much worse than Negan and I want Negan to team up with Hilltop, Alexandria, and the Kingdom so they can beat the whisperers
They made such a mistake killing enid tara and Henry Tara was leader of hilltop and had leadership skills. Enid should've had more to do and now just killed off for the sake of it and Henry could've been the new Carl 😒

I cried for 5 minutes after seeing all of them dead.
I knew that Alpha was bad, But I underestimated the depth of her depravity. So heartbreaking.
The ending was brutal
This was the episode I knew the show could still hang even without having characters like Rick or Maggie around. Such chilling final few scenes.
Maggie ain’t that good tho (imo) Carol, Daryl, Negan and Michonne carried s9 and 10 pretty well.

I bet you aren't quite as excited now that the fair is over...not alot of positive to be found there.
Mostly nobodies, Tara and Enid who where irrelevant for a while and Henry who was braindead and deserved death.
Pikes were better original Rosita and Ezekiel instead of no one anyone cares about in show. Was a big let down onto the storm
