@@sennataylor592 i get why they might respond to that, but people also forget it's just an expression like you said. still part of what he said is true, the people who bought the Sonata, if it works out for you, i hope you enjoy it. but when they said ever, i knew they were exaggerating. still someone always has to respond to such a non-threatening comment, i don't get it either, but it's the internet. people love to reply to everything, no matter what is . The push button shift by wire will NOT change gears if a button is pushed and the vehicle is rolling. Saftey issue and it's very good for the transmission for those which like to slam it in gear while not coming to a complete stop. I have the 2022 Sonata SEL with convenient package and absolutely love the car. Great video. Nice job.
I just bought one a 2021 model, and I live in New Orleans and those who know, knows we have some of the most outlandishly horrible roads and this vehicle drives so well and feels really good on bumpy roads and a millions times better on well crafted roads.
0:21 I've never liked door mounted outside review mirrors but that look of that car from the side view that car looks absolutely fabulous from the side
I absolutely Love this review. The only insight I might have (that was not identified) was the fact that if the key fob is on you...your presence and IF you NEED it, that your trunk will actually open. You identified that it recognizes you, but not "heads and tails above the rest" that you don't need a foot for trigger..js
Thank you for such a great review👍 Back in the early sixties my parents had A Dodge with a push button transmission You just brought back a lot of happy Memories!
1:46 It's nice to see someone come out with a 4 door Sedan that doesn't have a steering wheel that mimics the Toyota Camry's, but as far as that steering wheel design is concerned, I'm really not feeling that design. But I guess I could live with it because the car looks great.
Give it a thumbs up if you think Hyundai should do away with the 1.6 l turbo in the sonata . They should have a 2.5 l direct inject naturally aspirated motor not the 1.6 l turbo. They shouldn't have a 1.6 l turbo in any of the sonatas unless they want to come out with a green model and call it the green model. Less horsepower and no added gas mileage. Which equates to a smaller motor trying to spin faster which means you get less life out of your engine.
I wanted this car but the financing guy was rude and bazaar! He wouldn't tell me the intrest rate after asking 4 times lol.. made me super uncomfortable
@Jade G I walked in with my own from my bank but wanted to see it their Rate would be lower 🙃 he told me 560 a month for 84 month! I said sir that doesn't add up. Needless to say I didn't but the car! He still wouldn't tell me and kept coming back with these ridiculous numbers
@@Inputdonutz Omg! Asshole, I would definitely go to another dealership! This is what I did, I found the car I wanted on dealership website, emailed them to see if car was available. A lot of salesperson’s emailed me.. I emailed them back and stated that I was interested in this car, and told them I needed the drive out price, with tax, title, license, and dealership fees..as I will be utilizing my bank for this car purchase. They gave me the run around and tried to get me to come in, just to give me the price. I told the salesperson, if you cannot help me, I’ll go to another dealership.
I will presume given your young age, you seem to be obsessed with the speed, the pick-up, and the paddle-shifters of the car. 95% of the people who buy this car are concerned not just about the car's off line speed, and being quick enough to merge onto an expressway without getting killed. We also want to know about the car's ride, the handling, how quiet, and how comfortable the seat are. Save the speed stuff for the performance cars, such as the Sonata N Line.
Well the SEL plus is still supposed to be somewhat sporty. Its like the N Line lite. Most people in this class want to know how well the car accelerates. I think youre confusing the suv crossover buying crowd with the sedan crowd which tends to be younger buyers.
Just bought mine last week, same exact car but a 2023 model, definitely smooth ride
I have a 22Nline and I get nothing but compliments on her , I love the face it’s so futuristic and agressive looking especially at night .
people who bought this car you made the best decision ever
Best decision ever? That sounds sad.

These are the best wheels of any Sonata trim level! Plus white with black interior is 🔥🔥🔥
Just got this auto yesterday for my wife. Thanks for the review, helps a lot. 👍👍
Just bought this model in white after watching your video in Seattle thank you for posting!

This is my favorite sedan!! Nice video bro.
2022 Hyundai Sonata SEL Plus
Engine: 1.6 L GDi 4-Cylinder
Transmission: 8 Speed Automatic

Thanks for the review bro. I’m pretty sure I’m getting one of these cars. For the price it seems like a great car with lots of features
Had mine for a year. I love it 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
great review as always, that song slaps too!
Just bought the sel plus and I'm in love with this car better imo than camry accord k5 etc
Just got this trim also yesterday man it’s such a sweet ride man
Excellent review, one of the best I’ve seen.
Thank you for such a great review👍

Memories!
Panoramic roof should’ve been shown at the beginning 😭 that’s the selling view right there 🔥
The rims make the car look so much better i just wish the Kia K5 had the technology that the sonata has like the digital dash , lane watch camera etc.
Same I just bought a 2022 K5 GT and love the car, but wish we had the digital dash.
Thats the reason y I financed , a sel + ov the k5 gt line bc the digital gauge cluster an slightly better technology .
Great look from side to back, its that front😕. Hyundai walks on the borderline of futuristic design and a face only a mother could love😏
In person the car looks so nice and top class
I must be a mother then 😆 🤣. Only problem I have is the interior.
I think it’s the rear end that looks awkward
I have same car it is great i love it

Might be late but I just got mine, yall this car is amazing 🎉
Agreed , I have one in gun metal gray . It's fly .
Just got one and wow. I love this thing
Great review! Really nice car, but that front grill is going to take some getting used to.
2024 fixed that, but wait 3 years before buying it. However, if you're rich, go ahead and blow your money away. 💰
Great video, interested in this car and i saw you exit on moores lane and said, hey i know that road xD
It most certainly does have smart cruze.
Awesome review 👏👏👏
I own a 2020 all black with camel interior.
Interior only comes in black? Thanks…

How's the power with 4 or 5 people in it?
Nice review
I got one Saturday!! 😊
K5 exterior, sonata interior
Loving it :)
I love your vids! Did you ever get to Review the 2018 GMC Yukon Sle??
Still on my list. The one I have in mind isn’t a available yet
@@NothinButCarReviews oh ok
Why a turbo for just 180 hp
wait the SEL Plus doesn't have the smart cruise control?
Optional I think
I guess this one doesn't have remote parking
Correct only on the Limited trim.
HYUNDIA 2022 sonatas are ALL HAVING ELETRICAL ISSUIES ! ELETRICAL harnesses are FAULTY IVE BEEN WITH OUT MY new 22 for 3 months part on back order smh
Does this car not come with a V6 engine??
I don’t think so
Does it come with a blind spot monitor?
I believe this one did, yes
Very nice looking car
What is this thing on the windshield? Is it anti radar or video recorder?
Speed tracker. It’s called Racebox.
No heating steering wheel or heated seats, let me guess you have to upgrade to the next level
It has 3 level heated seats. No heated steering wheel.
What is a paddle shifter?
Button behind steering wheel to manually shift vehicle.
Yeah the front is well i dont know. i like the k5 front end better

Me gusta hiunday sonata
Thanks for the backseat demo and saying your height, my bf is a tall guy and that is always what I want to know.
The headlights and the tail lights are outstanding really makes the car look good but that front grill is whack makes it look like a whale in the face
