    Thank you for this video. As always, it's good to follow and do things at the same time as you. Love following your technique where we can learn to emphasise the photo rather than looking at a finished product and battling our way through to get something not even half decent. Thank you. You're an excellent teacher. And I love the fact that you work from pictures that we can take, and not crazy locations that some of us cannot reach.

    this is actually an interesting method to change the season on the shot from summer to autumn, but the final looks a bit oversaturated in terms of greens to my taste 😃 but anyway, thanks for tutorial, Christian! It's very useful in all ways!

      Seemed uncharacteristically over saturated to me for one of his videos. Plus the darkening of the foreground was decidedly heavy handed, in my view.

      Thanks for your comment! I agree the green tones are well saturated for this shot, I just think it looks pretty, but of course this might be too strong for others :-)

    Always seems easy !!!!! Doing the same sequence of correction it makes it easier to understand how to analyze the picture to be worked on !!!!

    Christian, colour range masks are very effective adjustments to the foliage colours, your demonstration makes it more comprehensive and accurate to understand. I am very thankful to you!
    I have a difficulty distinguishing Adobe Standard from Adobe Landscape, or even Adobe Coulour, which is based on what focus to make an option?

      Thanks for your comment and sorry for the delayed response!
      I use Adobe Landscape when I want the photo to be really vibrant and colorful, Adobe Standard is when I want to start with a flat base image (less contrast)

    Thanks for sharing your process. Through your video I suddenly understand what split toning means (I never before!), it’s splitting the high/mid/shadow of the same colour, isn’t it? What I still don’t understand is the use of calibration.

    • @ThePhlogPhotography
      @ThePhlogPhotography  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for commenting! With split toning you can give the highlights, midtones and shadows different colors for a more stylized look :-)
      Dont worry about calibration, I dont understand it fully either haha

    It's too bad there is no "eyedropper picker" in the color mixer panel. It would make things so much simpler. Great post!

      Thanks for the comment! There actually is something like a eyedropper (in the upper left corner of the color mixer panel) but I have to admit I rarely use it :/ Same with the point color tool in lightroom!
