You are able to grab up to 4 regiments(company) and form a brigade. Example you have 4 units with 500 each, instead of move 4 things of 500 you can combine and move 1 unit of 2000
Nice let’s play. I like how you are being as thorough as possible. Can’t you combine weakened regiments in combat? Also maybe concentrate your artillery on single targets or focus your arty to support a weaker flank or focus them along with a push with your stronger regiments to roll an enemy flank.
I definitely need to remember to combine units in battle. The artillery idea could be fun. I generally like my artillery more in the center so they don't have to move as much, but they would definitely do well on a flank.
Yeah i was little frustrated to see you not taking boston early on but now i wanna see what exactly will happen if you let boston grow till mid game or end game 😅
I saw that a lot of your expenses were army related, and it looks like that you have a lot of extra militia in your main army. Maybe shrink it a little bit? Should free up some muskets and put less strain on micro management~ Also my favorite button in the game is the hold! It seems much more efficient, and from what I see I think you can spam it, which if you think about it isn't cheesy because it's the natural thing to do.
If you want your army to replenish faster should spread the troops out across a couple of settlements like Albany, as they have their own supply of recruits
Someone needs to make movie about the American revolutionary war but the move shows us the war from two perspectives , one from a continental army soldier pov and the other from a British soldier pov , I think it would cool if the British soldier was African American because both sides had African American soldiers but more of the British did then the continental because the British promise the African-Americans freedom if they served in the British army . I felt like the Mel Gibson the patriot movie pictures the British as evil and horrible people which does come across as hateful . Now both sides did commit war crimes . But Mel Gibson makes it out to be that the British just wants to kill and plunder . The reason I think that the British POV should show be from the African-American point of view because in most movies and TV shows and books, we really don’t hear from the Africa America’s point of view the war and I think that’s important to hear from their perspectives . I think that the African American should be a young man probably around he’s early 20s and willingly joins the British army and makes some friends and enemies , the African American must kept his cool and prove himself because some of his fellow soldiers feel as though he is lower then them . But the African American is a terrific fighter and shooter , and can reload in 1 minute ( which was the standard back then and up to the American civil war ) , the African American soldier is quickly praised by his superior commander and is quickly promoted . While some are happy about his promotion others are disappointed. Also the African American should be apart of the British light infantry .Let me know your thoughts and pls tell me and share your thoughts and ideas for a American revolutionary war film .
Definitely need more movies on the Revolutionary War. Anything from the British point of view would need to be an international production. I think The Patriot really poisoned the minds of casual viewers, and they believe it is the absolute truth. You have definitely put a lot of thought into this. Would be very cool to see it from the POV of an African-American soldier.
