The Roland SH in the studio is actually an SH-09. Great cover btw.

I bought the original single back in 1983 and I must have listened to the song 100's of times since then. I have to say your recreation is utterly fantastic .. absolutely spot on.

Dave gave quite in depth talk about sweet dreams.
He used his sh101 for the pwm bass coming out of the left speaker with a little distortion and oberheim obx for the rest (this belonged to the picture framing factory owner that wouldn't let them borrow it but they took it when he went home)
Juno 60 and sh9 were purchased after sales of sweet dreams album but I think only for live use.
Sh101 was used for the bass for who's that girl after dave answered a comment on his Instagram from me saying he had added a little distortion to the sound from a pedal.
Using AI tech I managed to isolate the movement drum tracks so at some point I'll get them into a pack

It never dawned on me before but the riff reminds me a lot of the ipcress file by John Barry, sound design is unreal, sounds really like the orginal.A lot of work gone in to this recreation super impressive 👏👏👏

Sounds good but weird choice of synth - visually. The module looks a bit lost on camera and isn't cute like a Juno 60 or just about any other Roland gear from the era. Keep em coming. I like your videos and want to see more. Subscribed.

You should activate the subtitles, so those of us who don't know English will understand what you are saying. Thanks.
    Nice video, nice videos.

Rightly or wrongly, I always regarded them as the last hurrah of the early 80's synth sound. Suitably fat analog here 🙂

Just checked out Northern Kind. Decent material but the female singer’s range clashed with the synth sounds. Male voices work better with synths.
