The Mars-Hydro Grow Tent has been such a game changer in my growing hobby! I can go on vacation and not have to worry about the plants I have in the grow tents, but most importantly, my plants absolutely love the set-up. Especially the variegatas. It definitely encourages more variegation.

Hey, Patrick! 👋 Good video. I agree that maybe we need to lower our expectations of always having perfect plants. People aren't perfect and we shouldn't reject them for that. With love and care a less perfect plant can become a beauty someday.🌿🌵
💯💯
💚💚
Thank you for posting these videos
Thank you for watching them!
Love your uploads you are a drama free calm plant channel Ive been searching for.
GOD as someone who lives in Canada the plant selection (especially cacti and succulents) and prices KILL ME in the best way 😂😂♥️♥️
And this applies to literally every nursery even the big box stores Patrick visits 😅

Thanks for replying so fast. My brother ordered 2 from Costa Farms $50 each. Gave me me since I bought him a Thai from Evergreen for $125. He took a chance buying them you never know what you’re getting when you can’t pick it. You got a real nice Thai through the website. Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, hope r
To run into you at one of your plant shopping.
New subscriber from down under. New to your channel Patrick. Just back watching some of your plant shopping episodes. I am enjoying the walk through the different plant shops. 🥰🌸
Welcome to my channel! Thank you for watching my videos ☺️🫶
@@Patadendron your videos are fantastic.... So informative and so passionate about plants 🥰
I need to learn the secret to ZZ plants. My regular one has added a bunch of leaves, but my Raven one I've had for a couple of years and I think it's only added 2 leaves and it's very spindly.
They will tolerate lower lighting but they absolutely love brighter indirect light. I learned that from my raven. My raven though has yet to grow those thick tubers and I've had it for over a year lol still love that thing though 💚
yes Patrick is right, they really do prefer brighter indirect light contrary to popular belief! they also don't like being watered very often, as the big rhizome bulb stores a lot of water for it. i rescued a raven zz off the ground of my old nursery job, everyone thought it was dead bc it had been on the ground for like 2 months but i brought it back to life! it is thriving in bright indirect light + occasional light waterings (once every 1.5-2 weeks for mine)
I forgot to tell you I was incorrect that the thanksgiving cactus always drop their flowers after you get them home that always happened to me and a lady on u tube that’s an expert said that well I’m here to tell you not always I bought a ten inch pot of a red one it had a bud on every stem it’s in full bloom gorgeous I think we can’t find the real Christmas one because it only comes in one color it’s a nice plant it self branches easy to grow I had one years ago you can’t find them and you were right they have a scalloped edged edge most people don’t know that 😅
congrats on your new ZZ, it's soooo cute! I also love ZZ plants; my Raven ZZ needs a variegated + a Chameleon friend soon. As a recovering plant murderer, ZZ's truly gave me the W's I needed to get back into plant care lol.
I rescued a super dried out, basically dead Raven ZZ from the ground of my previous nursery job + even though the main stalk lost all it's leaves bc it was broken, it is now shooting off a little baby ZZ plant (5-6 months later)
That’s exciting! Yeah I just needed to see a little growth to be fully enthralled with ZZ’s lol I love them! They’re so low maintenance! Like the kids in the class who just understand the assignment 🤓💚
@@Patadendron haha so true! I really enjoy your ZZ love!
Yes winter garden.rthe all year round idea. So yes my climate is a changeable seasonal joy I plan my summery garden around a theme. It's always around if there going to make it.
One of my orders didn't arrive yet.
And always the 100$ free delivery.
Here is the farmers market which would help treasures unlimted .
And watering is different in different climates.
Wonderful though and yes labels do help.
Stay safe be well.

Merry Christmas 🌠
Merry Christmas!
I love your videos but I am so jealous, I live in the Midwest and we do not have nearly the selection, especially in winter. I wish more of the nurseries you toured would ship plants. I really want that Focus Elastica Ruby.
Really appreciate this comment, live in Midwest and love these videos same time just so jealous.
Is _Philodendron goldii_ the same plant as _Thaumatophyllum spruceanum_ I can’t remember…The mature leaves looks way diff than those young plants. They really look almost more like a spiral ginger! If you don’t know, compare the pics, lol
Oh yeah! I think it is! I was trying to remember it's thaumatophyllum name. Thanks for reminding me! Very interesting leaf form...
Patrick I didn’t see the grow tent info in the description box.
You gotta scroll lol
Patrick, I’m pretty sure that’s not variegation but damage and looks a little like leaf miners to me
What are leaf miners, if I may ask?
@@metsl1870 they’re insects that burrow and eat the leaves from within! @karenvonbargen4472 The pattern wasn’t swirly so I didn’t register it as leaf miner damage but it could be that too…those squiggles make my skin crawl hahaha
@@Patadendron Wow....thanks for answering my question,💚🌿❤️.
How much is the chameleon zz
$40!
How much was the Chameleon?? 👀
40! 10 bucks cheaper than ordering it from Costa! 😋💚
@@Patadendron Yay! Thanks! Might need to take a little trip 😁
@@vlong7112 yay! And I think they just got more in!
