I'm a tree hugger but I completely understand the necessity much like with live stock to thin the herd. Some trees need to go to open space for others. Most of the tree's he cleared were either dead or dying and could infect the surrounding trees. The guy who did this is a pro and did a wonderful job.

Our low is 96°! My mom said that in Central Oregon it was 44° yesterday morning and she had a long sleeve shirt and a sweatshirt on!!! Your hair looks fabulous Rae!! I LOVE it!!

You should do whatever you all want to do. It's your place, and you know what your plans are... And you always strive for the best for your family, for your animals, and you really are a good steward to your land. In all the time I've watched, you are always thoughtful of what you have and how God has blessed you and yours. In a previous video, I did ask about having the trees you didn't want removed. Thanks for answering why you didn't call a logging crew. I had been thinking more about a specialty company, to remove those unwanted trees but companies like that are probably very few and far between... I sure do enjoy your videos and have watched your family's journey since Adler was small, and you were starting at your Dad's. I really enjoyed how thoughtful you were about what you wanted to do, and it took my mind off of all the time I spent in hospitals with my hubby. He's doing pretty good now, because he was really fit and healthy when our journey began. It started with a surprise heart attack, then 2 heart surgeries for a total of 6 stents, then a defibrillator 6 months later, followed by falls as his body adjusted to medications we never thought he would ever need. Then this was followed by a traumatic brain injury (TBI) from a bad fall where he hit his head on a cement surface, after fainting, and then subsequently 5 brain surgeries. You'd hardly know it now, but being fit and active made a huge difference in how well he recovered. May God Bless you all, and love and prayers for Ralph and Leeann, as Ralph continues to heal and they figure out the right balance to his medications.
