We are the children of such a country that we do not give up anything when it comes to our homeland. The stories of the Machinery and Chemical Industry İmalat-ı Harbiye Museum prove this to us.
It was in this building that the famous, important, and memorable saying was uttered: “Turk, Honor, Work, Trust.” This aphorism, uttered by his wife Latife Hanım while touring the facility to thank those who contributed, gave confidence not only to those who worked there, but to all Turks. As we toured the museum and studied the history of the Machinery and Chemical Industry, we came across so many stories...
At every stage of filming, editing and coloring the documentary, our hearts swelled and we could not stop our tears while listening to this story. The story of Gazi Kovan is an incredible story.
Thank you to our martyrs who gave their lives for this homeland, thank you for all the efforts made for this homeland.
You should come to this museum to see the Gazi Kovan, which was filled for the last time for the proclamation of the Republic, you should come to the İmalat-ı Harbiye Museum to see the ox carts carrying ammunition on the fronts and to witness the development of the defense industry up close.
As we learn about the history of the Machinery and Chemical Industry, our horizons expand. We understand history better as we see the Independence Road from Kastamonu to Ankara, the efforts made to produce the ammunition necessary for the national struggle, from the evidence in the museum. We once again feel how important the efforts made to protect the integrity of these lands are.
At the Machinery and Chemical Industry İmalat-ı Harbiye Museum, you will not only see the past but also today's weapon technologies. You will see what kind of vision this country has and how strong its future will be. We want you to go to this museum and take your children to understand our defense industry from the past to the present and even into the future.
When you go to the museum, when you stand in front of Gazi Kovan, you will see one of the symbols of the national struggle. Because you know its story, you will realize that it is not just a hive, it is a proof of how we won these lands. When you see the cloth with the blood of Seyfi Sergeant, the last one to find it, you will understand once again how valuable the blood spilled for these lands is.
