Nobody is going to hate on you for fishing! At least they better not! Those trout looked awesome. And what i got out of it was that family is the treasure that we often quest for! There is nothing more valuable then them. My mom has passed and seeing you with your mom, just gives me great joy! Its wonderful and enjoy them while you can. Thank you for sharing!
I do love all animals and all living things, and I do admit I love the way some of them taste. and the moments together....if I could only stress how much that is all that matters in this lifetime . being able to share the moments with those we love. priceless.
I limited out every day, but wasn't sure if that was what anyone wanted to see, it was best fishing ive had in almost 18 years, just so rare for this area to be able to hunt for food, true blessing !
very glad to share, its was a magical trip full of healing, been a long summer with a lot of changes, it was sooo good to be in one place all together.
Hi Nate, I thought that was wonderful. I always love to see you out with your family. Thats sharing love, and that is what life is all about. Nothing else means shit! That is the secret of life, and happiness. Olive and your wife are so beautiful! Too bad their so camera shy. I always say , when you got it flaunt it. God bless you all! Hope you have some trout in your freezer now. Thanks for the quest, your mission is now completed. Your loyal friend and fan, Kevin
I was given all the fish I was allowed each day and will be feeding on it all winter for sure. camera shy yes, but they have read a lot of the comments over the years and both have had a chance to see and appreciate what a good group of people I get to share with on this platform, so they don't mind me filming but ive learned over the years to not always be that guy with the camera.. as often lol, ...we don't all get to be in the same place as often any more, so this was a special trip, glad to be able to share it, thank you.
We watch because of your spirit,u r a special person, we love your videos bro. Great family content. The fishing was cool, lots of happy trout. Latter bro Devo.
she's grown so fast... it was really good to be all in one place and free of concerns for a few days, my dad and sister still back at the farm during all this , doing what farmers do.. the never ending cycle, last of the tomatoes just fading for the season now.
I love river trout fishing. Did you see any obsidian? So beautiful. So happy you document our California natural beauty...thank you Nate..And especially with your Family...xoxo........WOW !!! All those trout-underwater view !!
its not far as the crow flies , from this location we were at, to the huge lake behind mt Shasta and ive seen a billion birds gather there, its a mass stopover point for all winged travelers I think . stay warm up there and thanks for watching !
Great trip! My dad and grandpa were big fisherfolk. Me not so much. But great area. Been there and it was nice to see it’s all still there. Ever been to Burney Falls? Olive would love it. And I did some quartz crystal hunting along the way. I appreciate the trips to places I have been to. Keep up the sharing and family togetherness
haven't been to the falls , maybe next season, this was mostly a fish mission but the area has so much space to wander, I want to take her to Lassen park still also, its got its own list of cool stuff to see. thanks for checking out the fun !
It’s so wonderful that you get to do things with your Mom. My boys are 40 and 50 and wish I had this life with them. Guess they are just busy with their own lives.
I've driven cars since I was 15, in USA, now in Canada, BUT I have to remind myself to watch the scenery and not "drive" your truck !! thanks for the treks. Thank you, thank you!!
This was super fun to watch and explore. I love the fish. I'm a female angler as well as a huge love ❤️ for the out doors, so this was absolutely perfect 🥰. So relaxing thanks Nate! I can feel the love and hard work u put in these videos. I'm very 🙏 grateful.
Thank you, Quest for Details. I did go Sunday (a 2 hour drive) and found the bag at the truck stop. Spent some time driving around the area, it's beautiful and desolate at the same time.
I looked around a little, just the tailings near to the old Stevenson site , never talked to anyone who went down inside to see how big it is in there , ive found several daylights near there and the water tunnel below must be to drain it, but wonderments if there's veins in there,... and from middletown angle I realize how huge that mountain is , ive only ever explored the palisades side, it would be awesome to hike around the whole thing...
Wow oh wow!!! Literally, YOU ROCK!! Well. I got me a LumenshooterS5 365nm UV Led flashlight. I been up and down Red Bluff , and still found nothing. I've researched on places for around here, mines, tailings, cliff sides ect.. Haven't been able find those. I'm just learning, and best is go out and do it. I did. Gets frustrating and helpless feeling. I would think something besides bits of paper, moss, string lint, mystery smudges lol in rock form would glow . Even just one on a whole river bank would be cool. I've been trying. I now have to wear knee pads lol. Pretty Rocky out there ! 🤭 Well. I hope to report back to you sometime this year, that I finally found one. Love your videos! Keep safe and Rock On!!
I'm not complaining about my lack of knowledge and ability to find rocks that are something, quite the contrary actually. I do find pretty much any rock to have beauty. Each and every one is unique and has a long story to tell. Of course some are more prettier than my everyday rock collection. Just amazes me how rocks come to be. All the different colours and patterns. Just wanted to get my clarification out lol I keep forgetting to ask you, what was the most awesome find you have found? Rocks and bottle digging, and detecting? Thank you
Nothing like a fresh trout to eat!
feasting still !

I enjoyed seeing places that I haven’t ever been to. The scenery is beautiful! Thank you for taking us on this trip.
its a beautiful landscape, very young and volcanic , and the water is just pure snow melt from the mountains all around.
Looks like an awesome area..
Really enjoyed this trip. Thanks for sharing Nate. Wish I was there.

I'm so tempted to go find the one on 36. It's not far from Red Bluff. LOL!
Well if you do please state so in the comments so others are not looking for what isn't there.
im in the area near to red bluff more often now, I'll try to scatter some north of me and put them in the vids.

Good video ! Nice narrative! Ur a pretty funny fellow!
You ever explore Mt Saint Helena? I have found a lot of crystals up there.

also never been up to the trout farm, and wonder if its still running and if you can fish there ?
