I have the beats fit pro and they're amazing. I don't do sports but I still appreciate how well they stay in. The case is pretty large and I'm really jealous of the U1 chip and the new in-case speaker in the new airpods, but these are good enough for me, especially since they also have the skin detection sensor and also have the new personalised spatial audio. My right ear canal is shaped super weird so that one slides out a bit over time, but they do stay in a little better than the AirPods 3 I forced myself to use for a year
If the beats fit pro 2 come out, they aren’t gonna surpass the AirPods Pro, at least not for long. They’re gonna keep the best tech in the AirPods pro because that’s their flagship set of earbuds. Great comparison! I have been looking for this particular ear bud comparison and this seems to be one of the first. Was looking for a review between these two ear buds! I have the beats fit pro and love them but was super intrigued by the adaptive transparency mode with the real-time normalizing of loud noises. Instead of dropping $250+ on new ones when I just got my beats a year ago, you brought up a good point about Beats Fit Pro 2s that might come out in the future. The differences are minor so I'll wait it out. Thanks for the comparison!
Thanks for the comparison. I’m an apple girl so of course I upgraded to 2nd gen but I have the hardest time getting my AirPods to stay put. This is why I invested in the beats fit pro. I have to say that I think the sound quality is better in my beats over my AirPods.
I found the Beats Fit Pro for a crazy deal at about $105 on Best Buy and considering just how closely it's contending with the Airpods Pro 2 which are still full price over there, I know I definitely made the right choice.
@@asjon09 yup, refurb. been using them nearly everyday for the past 4 months and they still work perfectly fine, no issues. although they came missing one pair of eartips so beware.
Gonna wait to see if they release a beats fit pro 2 this year. I tried the APP2, and hated the fit. Couldn’t walk around my house without them starting to come loose let alone get any workout done. Sound quality and features were nice, but they weren’t enough to offset the bad fit for me.
I think i might go for the Beats Fit pro, really really annoying they scrapped the earhook design with volume control. Absolutely loved my Powerbeats Pro untill the battery issues, them not charging properly in the case and the connection issues with my Note 10+(weird how they started acting up after warranty period was over) Cant wear the Airpods Pro in public without being paranoid that they are gonna fall out every 2 minutes. The case size of comfort was never an issue of the Powerbeats pro for me which everyone complained about, wore them for like 6+ hrs every single day for 2 years
Yeah I have the same headphones, I fucking love them, they never leave my ears! I always have at least one on at all times, the pain from the over ear hooks go away after the first week of use, and yeah I tried the AirPods Pro and they constantly fell out it was incredibly annoying I really wanted to like them.
@rivka the powerbeats line is dead. They are selling the exact same powerbeats pro for £269 in 2023 which i bought for £219 like 3-4months after release😂. They are still using the tech from 2019 and selling for a higher price with 0 updates with the flagship beats fit pro being cheaper lol.
Thanks for the video always spot on. I own both the AirPods Pro gen 2 and the Beats fit pro, I like them both and surprisingly the AirPods Pro gen2 stay in my ears much better (even when working out) than the First gen that one fell in a public restroom and that’s where it stayed. Everyone is different and everyone prefers different things but for me personally I think the AirPods Pro gen2 sound better and the transparency mode is better. With that said I do switch between the two and which ever one I grab on the way out I don’t have any regrets, but I have worn the Beats while riding a Quad 4x4 out on the trails and they stayed in place with no fear of falling out.
I use my Beats Pro for the gym that’s it. My air-pod pros are my daily drivers and I have my Sony wh-xm41000 for relaxing. I found even being at the gym with my Beats Pro my ears get sore after an hour. I do like them for the gym and running.
My verdict: If you go gym and workout, sweating a lot, never, NEVER, go for the airpods pro. They will naturally fall out and it's extremely annoying, especially mid-set. Beats fit pro are black and white in this department. If you don't workout and just want comfortable earphones that do their job and pretty well. Go for airpods pro. I wouldn't recommend beats fit pro just because they tend to become uncomfortable after an hour or so of use. Also the sound isn't as good nor the transparency mode that hisses.
The fact the lanyard is a separate purchase is the most Apple thing ever. Anyways, I still prefer the Fit Pro to the AirPods Pro 2 for workouts. For everyday use? I like the AirPods more. I probably will replace the ear tips down the line with something from Comply. I have those on my first-gen, and they fit me better than the silicone tips.
Own both, Beats Fit Pro are essentially my gym preferred that most people should consider for stability in the ear. AirPods Pro 2 are so good for any occasion. Any or both are great options overall.
@@7starLamar My ears are small so I tend to lean more to comfort which the AirPods Pro 2 are more comfortable. Both sound good no doubt, all in your choosing.
I got both, but I'm returning the Airpods. The Airpods are better in pretty much every way, but they refuse to stay in my ears no matter which ear tips I use, so the Beats win by default.
I had the beats for pro and returned them because they kept falling out of my ear during my workouts, as well as some ear pain after 30mins in my ear. This is despite trying the different earpiece sizes they came with in the box. I plan on getting the AirPods Pro 2 to see if it fits better during my workout.
If there's pain, then you may be wearing the Beats the wrong way. :D You're not supposed to place the wing tips forward. I had to watch a video on this as it was hurting a lot as well.
"It depends on what you value" that is true. I don't usually fit any earbuds while walking, exercising, running, etc. Especially, listen to the music outdoor. It's safer to me hearing surroundings when going out of my house. I continue using AP Pro because I don't feel any uncomfortable when wearing it and I use earbuds just for call, either work or talk.
Although the AirPod Pro 2s look extremely nice, I’m really hesitant to purchase them. I had a LOT of problems with the original AirPod Pros, considering that I had to replace one of them due to ringing and it sounding like trash. The one I didn’t replace sounds like garbage with Noise Canceling on and likes to have a high pitched ringing noise whenever I put it in. It also dies much faster than the one I replaced, showing Apple’s typical battery deterioration over time. I only use the off mode, transparency and noise cancellation just sound like trash. Great review today!! Your videos are very thorough and entertaining
I am currently experiencing the EXACT issue with my first gen Airpod Pros as well. Within the Apple Care warranty, I have had about four different sets of Airpod Pros in the past two years because every 5 months or so, the left airpod would start doing this ringing vibration that is so discomforting to my ears and it was ALWAYS that exact Airpod. Would have to take them to the Apple Store where they'd swap my full set for a new pair just for it to happen again some months down the line. I'm also a bit worried about purchasing the Pro 2s in comparison to the Beats and would love to know what you chose to go with and if you have the same issues with the Pro 2s as you did with the original Pros if you ever purchased them!
I've had beats earbuds for some years starting with the powerbeats way back when lol. Went to jaybird, galaxy buds 1st gen, then powerbeats pro, which were my fav for awhile. I bought a pair of powerbeats pros for my dad and after awhile he somehow lost them lol. That was at the time of the studio beats and beats fit pro dropping. Looked the specs and got the BFP because I've never been a fan of air pods besides call quality. After I got the Bfp for my dad I played with them for a day so I could tell me dad how to use them and I fell in love. I even asked my dad if he wanted my powerbeats pro and I'll take the BFP 🤣. He naturally said no. So I just waited for the right price drop. Prime day came and they dropped to $145. Jumped on it and they are great. I know they are not the best out there, but they do not move, sound great, anc is pretty good, and did I mention they DO NOT MOVE? Because they don't. I also just recently got the sony wf1000-xm4 (love em) and aftershock open air pro (work related). The ones that get used outside of the house the most, just day to day stuff, the BFP get used the most.
I slept on the beats because I listen to other people I just tried the ones I bought my wife. I definitely like them over my AirPods Pro 2 especially because my pro 2 left earbud disconnects every few weeks then I have to hook it up to my Mac to get them to reconnect.
I bought a pair of gen 1 air pods pro about 18 months ago, and my mic seems to go in and out according to people I talk to. Im curious as to how the mic sounds on the beats, and if the phone call comes through both buds. Thanks for the comparison.
I must say, that (you) are the (only) person, who has touched on the most important aspect of the subject at hand. I ((love) bass, and if that is lacking, then the rest of the features are moot. None of the (many) videos (touched) on this feature, so I was left wondering if the product would meet my expectations. You have a new subscriber.
I haven't use all the features on my beats fit pro but if i want to use noise cancelation i just click my earphone but it depends how you have it in the app settings
Honestly beats fit pro being causing my ears a lot of pain due to the wing tips as of recent, I love how secure they feel but man they start to hurt but on that note one of the ear buds have actually stopped working which is why I’m here to see if the AirPods are worth it, I owned a previous pair a few years ago and they weren’t secure in my ear at all but at least they didn’t hurt 😂
I sold my AirPods and got the BFP about a year ago. They look better and they actually stay in your ear on a run. I'll buy BFP 2 as soon as they decide to make them!
My beat fit pros are somewhere in my house. Apple only adding findmy to the ear buds when they're out of the case is dumb. I have the bright bright neon green ones and still can't find them lol.
I play basketball and tried to play with the AirPods Pro 2, THEY ARE NOT BUILT FOR THAT. If you plan to use this for working out sports of sudden movements, GO WITH THE BEATS FIT PRO, they are just a step behind in audio, but have all the same features and DON'T FALL FROM YOUR EAR WITH STRONG CONTACT.
Love my Beats Pro! I was deciding between Airpods and Beats Pro. I used to use the earphones and i hated it because it keeps on falling, so I picked the Beats Pro with the earhooks.
Excellent review, super helpful and informative, thanks very much! One quick piece of feedback: please try to use the products name more often! Sometimes it can be tough to tell which one you’re talking about when you say “this” or “these” (esp since they’re both white and I’m watching on a small screen). Other than that, great video bro
Just got the 2nd gen AirPods Pro, even tho the XS tips do fit better, the right feels unsecured in my ear when I'm at the gym. I think I may need to get the Beats Fit Pro too just for the gym.
@@willramz Yes, I have and the tip got stuck in my ear when taking the Airpod out. Must be sweat, only at the gym they feel unsecured otherwise they’re fine.
So what your saying is the AirPods 2 have a little more bass then the fit pro?because like I tried the fit pro from another friend and they have way more bass then the 1 gen AirPods .
In the past, Apple didn't give the Beats their H1 chip. Do the BeatsFP have all the hardware/tech included in the AppleAPP2?... It would be nice if the Beats were basically the AirPodPro2s for Android.
Got Airpods... I used them for working online meetings and they wriggled their way out constantly., always having to push them back in. No such trouble with the Beats Fit Pro... Can't believe Apple aren't making more Beats Fit Pro 2 etc...
Good video. Just a suggestion for future videos, you should say the actual name of the product throughout the video rather than "these" or this" because it's hard to tell which product you're talking about.
I’m considering both of these. I worry that the Beats Fit won’t actually be a comfortable fit, because of the wing on it. It presses against a part of your ears. I can’t imagine that would be comfortable after a few hours.

They didn’t. Beats Powerbeats still exist.
The air hook was really annoying. You’re hurting my ears so that design then I work for me and the case was to big
FYI - you can also have one of the beats fit pro buds buttons trigger volume down and the other trigger volume up
I was waiting for this battle
Cheers from San Diego California
Better bass on the beats, I did not expect you to say that….✌️😲👍
I have both as well and your video was spot on. This is why I trust your reviews!!! I totally agree about apple giving us some more colors!!!😊
Literally the video I was hoping to find thank you so much man!!! You’re the greatest❤
Been looking for this specific comparison for a while now! Thanks
Great review! I finally made my mind up based on your review! Thanks
Do AirPods Pro with comply tips stay in your ear better for workouts? Or do they still fall when working out and how do they compare to beats fit pro?
@@tiragan1896 They stay in fine for me but you have to remember that you’re using foam. Foam and sweat don’t go well together.
Own both, Beats Fit Pro are essentially my gym preferred that most people should consider for stability in the ear. AirPods Pro 2 are so good for any occasion. Any or both are great options overall.
If could only have one which would you choose
@@7starLamar My ears are small so I tend to lean more to comfort which the AirPods Pro 2 are more comfortable. Both sound good no doubt, all in your choosing.
I got both, but I'm returning the Airpods. The Airpods are better in pretty much every way, but they refuse to stay in my ears no matter which ear tips I use, so the Beats win by default.
4:28 percision or precision?
Who is watching this video in September 2024
For me it’s October 😁
Yeah, I'm debating on which pair to get. They needs to update the Beats Fit Pro
November
It’s November for me trying to make up my mind which ones I want
@@bustos060287 airpods pros is ❤️🔥
I had the beats for pro and returned them because they kept falling out of my ear during my workouts, as well as some ear pain after 30mins in my ear. This is despite trying the different earpiece sizes they came with in the box. I plan on getting the AirPods Pro 2 to see if it fits better during my workout.
Do the AirPods Pro 2 fit better when you workout? Do they feel like they’re going to fall out at all?
If there's pain, then you may be wearing the Beats the wrong way. :D You're not supposed to place the wing tips forward. I had to watch a video on this as it was hurting a lot as well.
Does the Beats have the new firmware update that Apple has released for the Apple AirPods Pro two
thanks! one of the best reviews ive seen!
Brilliant video - only thing missing was phone call quality as I use mine more for calls than I do for music
Great comparison review. Just what I was looking for. Thank you!
This is the video I’ve been waiting for
Although the AirPod Pro 2s look extremely nice, I’m really hesitant to purchase them.
AirPods for sure thanks so much for this video I’m was torn between the 2 but not anymore
Fantastic review. Thank you!
For me was the beats , AirPods kept falling out by just walking around the office…
Me too
Took them back after one workout
I slept on the beats because I listen to other people I just tried the ones I bought my wife. I definitely like them over my AirPods Pro 2 especially because my pro 2 left earbud disconnects every few weeks then I have to hook it up to my Mac to get them to reconnect.
I'm so tempted to buy the airpod pro 2's even though I have completely working pair of the original pro's🤷🏻♂️
Where can I find that wireless charging dock at 12:00 ?
As far as it goes for me. I will be going with beats, mainly because of the connectivity as I have both Samsung and iPhone.
Your video review was super helpful! Your awesome. Thank you. 😊
I sold my AirPods and got the BFP about a year ago. They look better and they actually stay in your ear on a run. I'll buy BFP 2 as soon as they decide to make them!
I’m going with the Beats, I have the gen 1 AirPods Pro, and they are constantly wanting to fall out
Update: I got the beats, I went with the stone purple, and I am in love, they are so comfortable, and sound amazing
My beat fit pros are somewhere in my house. Apple only adding findmy to the ear buds when they're out of the case is dumb. I have the bright bright neon green ones and still can't find them lol.
Love you UrAvgConsumer!
I have both. I use the Fit Pro only when I’m working out or on a run. AP 2 for all other things
A huge reason to pick the Beats is if you have a multios setup ( not only apple devices) they work WAY better than the AirPods do
I was waiting for a comparison like this, I imported a Beats Fit Pro and I think I'll stick with them instead of the Airpods 2
Hug from Brazil 🇧🇷🤙
Have you tried putting a bigger tip in just your right ear? Some people mix and match.
@@willramz Yes, I have and the tip got stuck in my ear when taking the Airpod out. Must be sweat, only at the gym they feel unsecured otherwise they’re fine.
Have you tried them on a call? I always get told I have a lot of background noise when I use my beats for calls.
Okay but what is going on at the 13:00 mark with that airpod lol
I almost brought AirPods today but idk which one was better the beats or AirPods now I know def. AirPods thanks for the video
So what your saying is the AirPods 2 have a little more bass then the fit pro?because like I tried the fit pro from another friend and they have way more bass then the 1 gen AirPods .
Which one is better for the gym?
Beats
Hey Jud and team, some of those shots of AirPods Pro with the Beats Fit Pro….you’re using the old AirPods Pro. At around 11:38 for example.
Love the beard development 👍
Can you still find the case if the earbuds are not inside the case? I once dropped my bose case while using the soundsport free
Great review. Very smart comparison.
Love my Fits, waiting for the update on those
I’m considering both of these. I worry that the Beats Fit won’t actually be a comfortable fit, because of the wing on it. It presses against a part of your ears. I can’t imagine that would be comfortable after a few hours.
Wingtips do hurt ur ears after awhile for sure
Great video,am getting the fits pro soon
