    Nice; video, stright forward to think of myself as "smart-er" now; can you manually set it to one and then kick it for the other? Or does it have to be set to grid and kick in for backup?

    Is it not possible to provide a modified sine wave inverter for source B? When the inverter is turned on, there is a loud noise. (when source A is not set to Auto)
    Is that because of modified sine wave? Normal ceb power is given to Source A. When both Source A and B are given, when A is missing, Auto will come to B. But when source B is turned off and ceb power is lost, when source B is turned on, source B does not fall in auto, there is a loud noise.
    Why is this happening?
    Pure sine wave will be fine?

    BTW, if you want 220/240v in the US
    220v P2 is for euro countries not the US. Euro uses a single hot wire 220/240v, US uses 2 hot wires.
    From what i was told. So US needs a 220/240v P3.
    If I was told wrong, please correct me

    My question is, the N side of my switch the UN light is on but the NON light is not and when i turn on my generator the R side both lights are on but on the N side only one and it hum like hell, what is the cause of this please.

    This explanation is incorrect, because the internal parts were assembled inside a small box, while we want the explanation to be by reviewing each piece of the device independently.

    • @Theo-de-Koning
      @Theo-de-Koning 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      For using that ATS is not needed to look in the inside.

      It seems that you do not know what the ATS system is, for example, it consists of contactors, phase fillers and others. As for what is explained in the video, it is brief in a small device with few specifications.

      If the transfer switch you have is like the one in the video, then this device suffers from a slow transfer between two power lines.
      Because it contains a normal circuit breaker, the conversion process will be fast when it is through the "Relay" or "Contacto"r.

      It must be box inside electronic components and the conversion is via relay inside it, and it does not contain the option of manual switching, I cannot mention a specific brand because I am from the Arab world and we do not have a brand available all over the world and there are no local companies in the West that manufacture like the one we have except rarely, I suggest that you make an ATS system that will be a "Change Over" without electronic components, sturdy and easy to maintain. This is the best option at all.
