btw the characters that participate in the new 4.8 event arent those you said... those characters are for the new permanent event that will give the following rewards: "Challenge Rewards
After completing a "Pictorial Trails" challenge stage, you can claim the corresponding character's Trail Appearance reward from the gameplay interface. After claiming, you can go to the Character - Outfit page to equip the Trail Appearance."

A Freeze meta implies the return of Ganyu, Shenhe and/or Kokomi in 4.8 or 5.0. Albedo and Nahida being mentioned is concerning, but they do have synergy with Navia and Nilou respectively.
But the Abbys Meta was Geo Counter. So iam pretty sure the rerun was Navia, Choiri and Wriothesley

How is his whole sad lore 'my dad died and my mom left me to go to fontaine', and then fontaine releases, and we get NO mention of his mom (like an npc saying 'my neighbour always talks about this architect son of hers' and no event with kaveh in fontaine (like him going there to reunite with his mom now its saved, or him checking if she survived the flood, nothing at all??)

I would buy all the skins if they would release them without booba and cake patches. Shenhe is the worst example of this but pretty much every char has added spiky coats to hide the bottom. During its duration, "Pure Dew Breath" will drop every 0.3s, and each enemy can only be targeted once every 0.7s.At the end of its duration, a Casket of Soft Light will be recreated. If a Casket of Soft Light that had absorbed Aroma was destroyed when casting Fragrance Interpretation, the created Casket of Soft Light will inherit the previous Aroma and level.During the duration of Fragrance Interpretation, the elemental skill "Extracts and Fragrances" will not generate a Casket of Soft Light.

Each time two Aromas are collected by a Casket of Soft Light, the Aromas will be consumed, and "Clear Dew Fragrance" will be unleashed, dealing AoE Dendro DMG equal to 500% of Emilie's ATK. This damage is not considered elemental skill damage.
A4 Talent
When there is a Casket of Soft Light on the field, all party members gain 85% Pyro RES towards Burning DMG.
Utility Passive
Emilie's DMG towards enemies affected by Burning is increased by 36%, but DMG towards enemies affected by Quicken is reduced by 90%.
Constellation 1
The damage of the elemental skill "Extracts and Fragrances" and "Clear Dew Fragrance" created by the passive talent "Aftermath" is increased by 10%. The latter effect requires the passive talent "Aftermath" to be unlocked.
Additionally, when nearby party members trigger Burning or deal Dendro DMG to an enemy affected by Burning, an additional Aroma will be generated. This effect can only occur at most once every 2.9s.
Constellation 2
When a Casket of Soft Light created by Emilie collects Aroma, Emilie will gain a stack of "Special Blend". Each stack will increase Emilie's ATK by 18%. "Special Blend" can stack up to 2 times, and the duration will be calculated independently.
Constellation 3
Increases the level of "Extracts and Fragrances" by 3. The maximum upgrade level is 15.
Constellation 4
The duration of "Fragrance Interpretation" is increased by 2 seconds, and the interval between enemies being targeted is reduced by 0.3s.
Constellation 5
Increases the level of "Fragrance Interpretation" by 3. The maximum upgrade level is 15.
Constellation 6
When casting "Extracts and Fragrances" or "Fragrance Interpretation", Emilie gains "Fragrance Retention" for 5s. During the duration, when Emilie performs a Normal or Charged Attack, she will generate one Aroma, and Emilie's Normal and Charged Attacks will be converted to Dendro DMG which cannot be overridden. Additionally, the damage dealt by Emilie's Normal and Charged Attacks will be increased by 250% of her ATK.
"Fragrance Retention" will be cleared after four Aromas are generated, or once the duration ends.
This effect can be triggered once every 12 seconds.
