- I recently visited my good friend and colleague Nigel Danson who lives close to the Peak District. On a promising morning we went to photograph Ramshaw Rocks in the Peak District. I got four great landscape photos in about 15 minutes and a bonus photo from a nearby tree.

You are the bringer of good weather - awesome week and awesome video!!!
That lone tree at the end...wow, what a spectacular stroke of luck with that light!
Brings back some memories of when I used to climb at Ramshaw rocks (in my younger days)! Great morning light!
What an awesome result to spot that tree and get the good light
Hi Mads that was a beautiful video. My wife and I have often passed the Roaches on our way to Stoke-on-Trent via Leek. The rock formations are so inspiring but sadly we always get there at the wrong time of the day; need to get up and out earlier, you both chose a great time to be there. Recently we stopped about 3 km from the Roaches towards Buxton to capture an amazing sunset. That was in April, we did the same in March and for the same reason, a beautiful sunset. There is a little piece of magic in the area surrounding the Roaches which makes it a delight to photograph. My favourite photograph from your video has to be the solo tree catching the morning sun; so beautiful, thank you.
I haven’t seen the video yet but I just thought it was funny how I got this notification at 1 am while I was photographing nebulas 😂. I can’t wait to watch the video!🌌🌌🌌
It was nice to see you out and about with Nigel again.
You were certainly blessed with the light that morning.
Great image's as usual Mads.
Look forward to the next one.
That tree shot and countryside says ‘England’ to me. Worth a thousand words. ❤ Beautiful images. You are a master photographer whatever the light. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Super video and great shots.
Nice adventure ! Wonderful light Pal
Every time you visit the UK you bring the weather...... when you coming back ? 😁👍👍
I have a lot of wonderful pictures of that tree at sunset, but have never considered it at sunrise. I certainly have never seen it lit in isolation like that, it looks fantastic in your images.
Beautiful, as always!
So amazing, what a great way to learn composition
"Run run run run run.....heh!" Who else can relate?? Really like the tree shot at the end. Greetings from the USA
Nice light 👏👏👏👏🌳😊☀️☀️☀️
I forgot to leave a comment after watching so I am back for this haha. Love that last shot ( the others too of course ), I call these unexpected and unplanned shots... the lucky shot 😁😁.
Beautiful photos and nice comments as always.
You usually disclose aperture, speed and Iso but do you mind also saying what focal length you use with your zoom for each photo?
Awesome
so good to see you and Nigel out together! as usual, stunning photos Mads!
Need to get to the Peak District only 95 minutes drive and still not been 😂
Bank holiday weekend coming up mate. No excuses.
@@kiddwong4186 I work bank holidays and would probably choose to plan a trip off peak!!! No pun intended 📸
stop the sun! We're going to take pictures!
Lots of beautiful shots edited in a fast moving yet informative format. Classic Mads! Thanks for posting.
Hello, what white balance did you set in these conditions: daylight or cloudy?
Peak District & northern UK rarely disappoint - your videos instead are always a win 🏆
Beautiful location. Great video as per usual 😊
Love the results you got on this morning!!! Did Nigel also do as well ?
Was this taken on Ramshaw Rocks by any chance?
Beautiful images
Your editing course, is that leaning heavily on Photoshop or can you use it for any program that works with layers?
Hi Marielle. Thanks for the interest. I have had that question before and as long as you can do the translation yourself, it seems to be working fine. I haven't had anyone wanting a refund if they didn't use Photoshop.
9:08 Good God. Like God specifically shining the spotlight just for you there. Great shot
Please stop these endless photos of "a guy" standing on a cliff top. Its enough now. If someone has to be there then make them sit or be a natural part of the photo. All that standing around looks to composed.
@@hjleh I can't but giggle at comments like this. Like, how arrogant and entitled do you have to be to straight out demand how other people should do their photography? If it frustrates you so much, stop watching my videos and spend your time on something that brings you joy 😘

Very mature answer. Best not to listen to feedback?
And yes, I should have commented with a different wording.
But no worries, I've unsubscribed.
Lovely shots... Really hoping to travel up to the Peaks in September, and take advantage of the wild heather!!
There is some gorgeous light going on there. Spring is an amazing time of year!
Near where I grew up and where I learned to appreciate landscape and the healthy benefits of walking.
Really beautiful, Mads!
Beautiful photography and talented solo operations for this excellent - Summed up the reasons why so many people follow you, Mads! Love the Peak District, spent three years when I had more time available for a bit of 'Camera Love' - 👍👍👍
Ramshaw Rocks! Fell in love with this place after seeing it in the 1995 Pride and Prejudice series. Awesome. Thanks Mads!
You were very fortunate with the light. You can't miss getting good photos with that light and that scenery. Well done. Beautiful images.
Beautiful photos, Mads! It looks like an enchanting place!
Great place. The roaches, use to have live just a few miles from that location by the winking man.
I really need to spend more time in the Peak District, especially as it's only about 20 miles from my home!
Lovely images Mads and great news about you and Nigel collaborating on tutorial which I will definitely be interested in hearing more about. HopenTuscany is going well for you and look forward to seeing the content you share from there
Fantastic photography. That tree is top notch, great conditions
Looked like a great morning for some stellar images. Don't be late next time. Carry on. 👍🥂
Very cliche images but nice to see the edge of the peaks after
Over saturated images.this is very bad 👎
That gray Rab is perfect! I bought it from trekinn before the war... Russia will win!
