I agree this is her best cover. You know, there are lots of people that have listened to her and said "Oh, I see, it's highly technical. I don't see her emotion, so I guess she's just a robot", and you and I know that they don't understand a thing about music because they're watching her rather than listening, but in a way they had a bit of a point in that although she was able to put emotion into very technical pieces (and it is extremely obvious to anyone musical that she felt every note), she did only a few covers like this where the emotionality of the actual music was paramount to the arrangement; And all that being said, I feel like this composition really challenged her at that age to explore something very egoistic (like Vai), something a bit foreign and outlandish for her. Yet, she completely already had the arsenal of emotions to comprehend and execute it... it was just a matter of unleashing that in the constrains of what is also a highly technical piece. I find her performance here absolutely exhilarating. She is music.
In my opinion, she played with so much feeling that I almost think she incorporated some of her experiences into this song. It is her best cover in my opinion. That is probably because technically difficult pieces, such as Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata or Dragon Force Through the Fire and Flames, are not such a big challenge for her. But with Steve Vai's song, you have to play with a lot of feeling. I can no longer hold back my emotions. She mastered that brilliantly. I have never seen a guitarist who can play like that. I consider it a privilege to be able to hear her.
Tina is absolutely amazing! Of course, the specially designed guitar with the extended neck and the locking nut makes it possible do some amazing things. The fret board extends clear to the pickups, making it possible to add really high notes. The locking nut allows her to bend the strings much further without the fear that they could slip out of the nut groove.
Tina posted her video on December 12, 2015, Steve VAI watched it on December 13, 2015 and tweeted congratulations to Tina and reposted the video on his page. And Tina S replied : "I am honored!! Thank you Mr Vai" --- Tina S interview : "For The Love Of God is a very complex piece musically, technically, structurally," she said. "Playing was a real goal, I'm very proud of its success."
Tina S is one of the best guitar players out there today. There's a video from when she got her first guitar all the way up to her first electric guitar, Tina has so many great videos from 13 years old until she stopped posting at almost 18 years old, not sure if it was because of haters or trolls as they are known, but after Beethoven's moonlight Sonate she stopped and went to college to study, she never closed her account, and her fans had to wait until last year, you will not recognise her until she starts playing, she is covered in tattoos and bleached hair, she plays in a group, she is now 25, enjoy your journey with Tina.

STEVE VAI, BAD HORSIE. STEVE VAI, BAD HORSIE. STEVE VAI, BAD HORSIE. STEVE VAI, BAD HORSIE. It will Kick you HARD with it's Hind Legs. That man lost his mind...!
As a guitar player myself, I wondered how she managed to change from a warm tone to a treble tone at 2:20, until I realised that she is operating a wah-wah pedal.
I eagerly watched with anticipation the version of Steve Vai doing his live version of « the love of god », the one with a classical orchestra! He used his famous reverse whammy bar technic. The whammy bar cat purr also called whammy bar flutter. Well I must say, I really felt disappointed. Steve did try super hard, using all his guitar tricks and gimmicks but when it came to the climax of the whammy bar cat purr, it sounded lame more like a high pitch… fart, a high pitch mouse fart? On the other hand, Tina’s version and whammy bar cat purr «5:13 to 5:19» sounds more like an enraged roaring pissed off wild Bob cat freaking out. Tina was just a normal student who was saying that her studies did not leave her enough time to practice her guitar (actual quote from an interview in guitar magazine ). Imagine if she would have had enough time to really practice the guitar! Oh my God!!!
Yes, Matteo is a fantastic guitar player, but his soloing gets boring after a while because it's not melodic enough. That's why I am not a lover of jazz. The music is endlessly boring except to those who understand the structure of music. Give me a Gary Moore solo, where the improvisation is centered around a melodic line that is recognizable, but still interesting!

She has absolute, 100% control of the guitar, she can make it do whatever she wants. Magic.

This is excellent but DEFINITELY NOT her best cover.

Niveau céleste. Merci pour le partage.

she stopped posting to finish school, she said in a interview that she couldn't find enough time to do both guitar and school at the same time.
New song from her band Spin Twice comes out September 6, 2024

Enjoyable reaction. This is my favourite Tina S cover. Tina hasn't got Vai's showmanship, however, I prefer Tina's version to Vai's.
Best Wishes. ☮
its next gen player.

There is no pedal. Its the whammy bar....youre a beginner.
@@NicoleSmith-xg1cf There is a Wah Pedal, definitly yes, you are the beginner it seems.

Yes Matteo Mancuso the new GOAT of the guitar
He is superb!! This 16 year old young lady not to shabby either.😁😁
Go promote your shit there.
