Man that first match at the start was painfully relatable. I honestly can’t tell if Sword is a tank or not. I kinda see him as a semi-tank phighter. I find him rlly hard to play cuz he’s not really uhm… flexible? Is that the right word? Like, I’d rather have multiple small dashes instead of one big one. I feel like if I miss my E as sword, then well SHI- I’m screwed. All the other melees have way easier-to- land mobility tools, except for katana but it’s still rlly good, with good aim u can just choose any victim u want to kill. Ez. Banham’s might be slow but the AoE from pressing Q again and crashing down makes landing it SO much easier. You ain’t escaping bio with his E, and skate doesn’t have any issues at all. Also, sword has like NO shield. I can’t fricking heal unless I get a kill or there’s a med or vine on my team. Getting shield from his M1s is so hard especially cuz he has no speed buff and most of the other phighters do have speed buffs and literally the entire ranged crew have speed buffs in some way. If I played sword, I’d probably play more stealthy. Sneaking up on victims and hitting them with the M1 M1 E M1 M1 Q is just bread and butter MWAH👌. That whole combo does 90dmg(if dmg is fixed on 15)?!?! And plus the 20dmg from M2?! That’s 110dmg! Anyone who’s low is absolutely COOKED I tell ya. Despite my rambling, you’re probably way better at sword than me. Especially if you’re getting 20+ kills with other phighters so easily.
Sword is (imo) a jack-of-all-trades Phighter. He has a bit of self-sustain with his passive and decent mobility with his abilities. I agree with you with his weaknesses but I feel like your kinda looking down on him a bit much, he is good at everything, but not strong in one aspect (Movement, self-sustain, etc.) but also I am not really the best person when it comes to this soooooo... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
