✨Small clarification/correction✨"samaa mieltä" is maybe better literally translated as - to have the same mind - because "mieltä" is the partitive form of "mieli" = mind. When you hear the phrase it just sounds like having the same opinion that's why I translated it like that 😅Opinion in Finnish is "mielipide" so you can definitely also say "minulla on sama mielipide" = I have the same opinion 🤗

hi my name is an. i from vietnam. in the future i will be go to finland. is my dream and thank you so much. video for u can help me very much for study finland
I think Kat needs to make a video on Finnish punctuation. In all the Finnish examples in this video, commas were missing where I expected them and present where I did not expect them.
Oh interesting point! In Finnish there are some words you always use a comma in front of. Että is one of them but it’s def something I could talk about more!
@@KatChatsFinnish I didn't have a lot of data to extrapolate from in this video, but I was thinking Finnish might be like German and Russian, where you must put a comma at every clause boundary. Of course, I'm just guessing.
Suostua can be used when you are talking about agreeing to DO something. "Suostun menemään huomenna töihin paikan päälle" = I agree to GO work from the office tomorrow "Suostuin tekemään esitelmän" = I agreed to MAKE a presentation If you agree on an opinion or thought you can't use "minä suostun"
If we want to use luulla like in the video you’d say: mä luulin There is also a verb ajatella which is used for thoughts in your head. It’s hard to know which verb to use without the full sentence though! I was thinking sounds more like thoughts in the head so you’d probably say: mä ajattelin

Can we say i have in same in my mind?
That's what I thought.
One can say "we are of the same mind" in English, but that's a pretty literary usage which is not often heard.
Luulen, et Kat on aika hyvä opettaja
Olen samaa mieltä sun kanssa😊
Kiitos teille 🥹💙
This is very helpful, could you do a video where you go into -han, -hän and -pa, pä -kaa/kää suffixes?
Thanks!

Mun mielestä sä olet kiva opettaja..
for the sentence "minun mielestäni talvi on Suomessa tosi kaunis", can I say in this way "minun mielestäni talvi on tosi kaunis Suomessa" ?
Yes you can! Both sound perfectly good :)
cause sometimes I don't know whether I put the right position of the words :)@@KatChatsFinnish
I'm Irish, with English as mother tongue, musta tuntuu että oot nätti mimmi, I speak Finnish too
Kiitos paljon 😁
Please, can I use mä suostun In these sentences? If not, when can I use it? Can you explain with examples, thanks.
Suostua can be used when you are talking about agreeing to DO something.
"Suostun menemään huomenna töihin paikan päälle" = I agree to GO work from the office tomorrow
"Suostuin tekemään esitelmän" = I agreed to MAKE a presentation
If you agree on an opinion or thought you can't use "minä suostun"
@KatChatsFinnish thanks a lot. Now, I get the difference!
Mä luulen että Ranskan Kat
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
How I can I say:: I thought or I was thinking

Now
, I don't think I can get my comment posted before your own. I will have to settle for kaksi.
Indeed it would’ve been quite challenging since I made it before I put the video public. So technically you were still first? 😄
Hei Kat🖐🏻 I think that it would be better if you write other verb forms of other pronouns when using puhekieli.
Kiitos paljon🌺💐
Mun mielestä talvi on Suomessa tosi depressive ☺️
Hups 😅🙈
