I wish they added like a bleeding effect with the crossbow, that ticks like, slower then faster, but if you get hit with a bolt, and you keep running around, it ticks faster, which would kind of keep people in place. Even just a bleeding effect would be pretty nice to make the crossbow better

144fps is low for 144hz monitor, you need double fps so that 144hz get's all frames ready to render. For example 60hz needs 120fps, 144hz needs 300fps.
Maybe you're thinking that because it's common in TV due to interlacing. If anything, higher fps gives you screen tearing, but also better responsiveness in return.
