They have a location near Tokyo now too in Setagaya. Get there before they open, people line up! I love both locations and this is my favorite okonomiyaki place!
Great video!! I'll be going to Hiroshima for a couple days during this winter vacation and I'm so glad I found your video! Your video was like watching something on the Travel Channel! Fantastic!
@@emalinel I wonder if the lady in the video is his wife. There are no other customers (like Adam got the whole place to himself for the video and from various angles). And she is also not a local (at 5:09 she also uses her chopsticks to eat instead of using the spatula like a local). She may be Japanese, but not a Hiroshimayan (?). Sorry. Your reply was from 2 years ago, so feel free to ignore this delayed "reply".
@@angeluscorpius Hello! She isn't her wife :) on destination flavor Japan they have an episode where they show her in person (Adam visits his wife's hometown and her family in Hokuriku) and her hair is much lighter and her face overall looks different. I'd suspect that woman is a part of Adam's team/production crew
That is actually a great time to go to Japan - around the first week of March. Flights are cheap and the plum blossoms are gorgeous.
Well noted! Not to mention, the cool weather during that time as well.
I went there in 2018, I loved it!!! I'm thinking about trying to make it myself
Okonomiyaki is brilliant and so is Hiroshima. Really loved my trip there.
I've used every one of your vids/tips during my trip to Japan, thanks so much for making these!
this dude made an amazing quality video just for 46,000 views over 4 years. what a hero
Went to the place you recommended. waited in a queue because apparently the chef is famous all over japan :D was a great experience!

I've been bingeing your videos. They're so good!

Your channel deserves more views.
Actual video starts 3:10
Okonomiyaki aside. Did you just get twin yolks in a single egg?
It's not uncommon in a super jumbo egg like that.
here in canada we sometimes get the option for double yolk.. i always buy them for camping breakfasts
Thanks for the okonomiyaki eating tips. Helps me pretend to look like a local.
"A little bit of everything you like, fried" is the best name for a food ever. :D Also pretty much my food philosphy but I've yet to try Okonomiyaki.
Definitely will make a trip to Blue Hassho - Thanks!! Again, another awesome vid!
Most okonomiyaki restaurants have bilingual menus, when in doubt just ask for the "special" with squid and shrimp
Well worth it!

Hello, I thought Hiroshima had the issues with the radiation, are the levels safe in that area?
Yes its safe, the bombs that landed there were weak in compared to morden bomb.
Hmm, I had not even thought about that, given how long lasting radiation is, it’s something that should be looked into for certain locations.
It's Fukushima that you have to be wary of I think
If it wasn't, I wouldn't be alive... so....
I noticed no English translations on the signs or menu, makes it difficult if you cannot speak Japanese.
MaZEEZaM cant tell if this is a joke or you’re a fucking idiot. consider reading your comment again and using your peanut brain to think.
Most restaurants have an English menu, I only ran into a couple that didn't but was able to use google translate to help.
Because its Japan
