    There are a couple things I hope they add.
    1. Resource pools: collecting plants and herbs to create potions, or temporary consumables to boost power.
    2. Quest not only give you monster parts: choosing from a list of daily quests. IE if you want to farm rathian, you select from a list of daily quest. You can spend a small amount of zenny to go on this quest.
    When you start the quest the monster will spawn next to you. These monsters are slightly harder to hunt, but will more than likely drop rarer items and more zenny if you do defeat them.
    3. I hope they introduce armor slots and decorations.
    I want to be able to wear my rathalos armor set and have lock on god dang it.

      Sadly the game does not have many features and development time dedicated to it as Pokémon had, and even with that, this game is still way better than PG

    For me it the nodes , do not have nodes near me and have to go very out of my way to get them. Even then they are not a guarantee which make the trip not worth it. Not having high rarity material spawn on the amp like normal item make explore biomes lack game pointless. Monster accounce today earlier MHN next events, which improves some thing , but need to go further with them. Tobi going to spawn in mass, but without bone+ I still can't upgrade for the Rathian event

    I find monsters just don’t spawn very often. I can walk through a huge park and only see 3 monsters spawn. The fact that breaking specific parts doesn’t increase the rate of that part drop bothers me. If I cut the tail off, I would like a higher chance to get a tail in rewards.

    The material and sudden difficulty gap of reaching 5 star making your weapons turn into a peashooter. As for the material to make it worse, despite already fighting 4-5 the rarity of materials you still get is mostly 1 rarity which doesn't make any sense. You're already at 4 star why not one rarity 3 or 2 guarantee per hunt?

      It’s way worse at eight star monsters. I have yet to see the rare6 material after killing somewhere around 15 eight star monsters. And I killed those JUST BARELY.
      The difficulty spike is really sucking the fun out of the game.

    The most pain is when you kill 10 6star monster in a row an EVERYONE drops only there tier 1 loot... ONLY!!!
    This must be changed that for at least 6star monster you get some min. Tier loot save .. so for example i am hunting and searching for 6 star jagras 3 days and then it give me only the same loot like a 1 star .... wtf

    The monster generation and pots are my current issues. Pots could be healing to 100 health instead of 50 considering the daily is only 5pcs. The monster generation tho, some monsters spawned like in a field, like come on. Wish they make the monsters spawn near roads and in parks so when walking to and from home, I can hunt instead of walking to neighbors backyard.

      Mine spawns somewhere in a private location and i cant get the monster(i am at least a few inch away from rathalos bruh)

    At the very least Paintballed monsters should be able to be multiplayer hunted remotely. Multiplayer demand is way to stringent for such a niche series.

    u know when the ppl play this game that require to go out like 5 Km or 2 Km you need to allocate time well, since the market target for revenue to buy potion or currency, they/we are working and doing other stuff, the publisher should mind their target market habit and availability, useless multiplayer for ppl who work daily since the gameplay progression wont be suffice compared to the gathering ppl for multiplayer, unless they do change the multiplayer mechanism, Bittersweet MH NOW

      You're right. They should retain the core gameplay but revamp the method of encounter. I work 8 hours a day and there's no way I, or other in a similar circumstance could spend another hour or two finding monsters to hunt, when we're already drained.

    You covered every pain point I have with this game. The most egregious one is the monster rarity and getting lucky with the materials the monster drops. I even tried going downtown where there’s a higher density of monsters, and they’re still in unreachable areas (no trespassing, highways, etc). I’m hoping these pain points get addressed

      I have a lot of woods near me and for some god damn reason all of them like to spawn right in the middle of them where you can't reach

    Completely agree here! Here's a list of things I would LOVE to see be implemented in the game myself:
    1. Resource nodes should guarantee you at least one of the special resources (or they should just be available in the overworld)
    2.The timer needs increased. Not a ton, but just like... another 10-15 seconds. I would like to be able to lose a few seconds to healing/knockback/connection issues (a whole other can of worms) and NOT just instantly fail cause I know I'm gunna time out.
    3. Dear god please increase the drop rate of rare mats! I should not be fighting 5* monsters and getting 6, rare one mats! It's immensely frustrating.
    4. Healing and potions need work. I WANT to play this game a lot, but getting instantly one-shot, and then having to wait 30+ min to play again is so stupid.

    Another pain point about the gathering nodes. Their distribution doesn't feel even. In my town there is an area with 4 bone nodes, but not a single mining node, making it near impossible to get the ores and crystals.

      Bro… the nodes are based on the type of biome they are in, and the biome changes randomly every few hours. So at one point in the day, the nodes will be bonepiles because it’s a desert biome. But later in the day you come back and they might be plant gathering points because its a forest. To get mining points, it needs to be a swamp. Just check back at another time

      It’s once a day the biome will change. For me it changes at 8 pm eastern time.

    one thing i want is a filtering selection for our palico's to either prioritize marking with or to just out right exclude marking certain mons to hasten material gathering because if you're just trying to forge one specific armor piece from legiana and all it keeps marking are puki's it gets a little irritating not being able to filter the rest out of what it chooses.

    I think you've covered a very good point with the 30HP regeneration.
    I personally want to go in battles and try not get hit once, they should reward players that do that... by increasing the regen from 1 to 30 (as you've mentioned).
    Ive also noticed you cant sell materials or do anything with lower materials. In MH games I was able to sell materials or turn them in via melding. (this is definitely needed)
    Personally I have lots of nodes near me, but i still experience the frustration of not getting a higher rarity material from these nodes, despite going to 20 nodes every couple of hours.
    This also increases my frustration when i purposely break certain parts of monsters but dont get the drop........ and like you've mentioned that monster is gone once killed.
    They need to do something with the spawn rate, where the spawns are, or address the drop rate in general.
    I also feel like the timer for battles are too short. I think there are balancing issues with weapons in general, but the timer definitely pushes the bias towards higher DPS weapons without having to get close and charge (like hammer and GS)
    Multiplayer... I feel like multiplayer is a big let down, the fact that I can only hunt monsters with my party that we've paint balled, or spawned locally.
    They should make it so that we can hunt with anyone (doesnt have to be local) just like the game.
    They should also NOT disable solo hunt when in party... this makes it very annoying to join and leave join and leave to do things.

      Thanks for comment! I do agree, some weapon balance would be nice. Provide more incentive to play melee. There is currently a lot of incentive to just play ranged and conserve hp. Doesn’t help the damage from ranged is also quite high.

    I think multiplayer would work pretty well with paint ball monsters.
    Aside from that, a feature were you set your palico to paint spcific star monster, and collect specific items would be nice. Your palico can only mark 3 target per day and collect 6 item till they are full.

    I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks the same thing as all the things mentioned in the video. Absolutely gut wrenching when I tell everyone in my house that I'm going for a walk and I'll be back later, only to come back in 3 minutes because a Rathalos one shot me

    Totally agree with all the points in the video. The randomness of a rare material coming out or having no nodes nearby is very frustrating. I haven't been able to move forward for a week because of randomness and I have walked 20km this week. Thanks for the video. Greetings // Totalmente de acuerdo con todos los puntos del video.     The one issue you forgot to mention which is an important one is those that are on a bus or uber to work. Lets say you wanna play while on public transportation then the game tells you that you are going too fast. All of a sudden everything disappears and you cant play until you slow down or back to walking. They need to change that at least if we cant fight monsters at least to collect gathering materials easier.

    My biggest issue with the game is that low level drops are mixed with high level drops on high level monsters. You kill a five star and sometimes get 1 star drops only. Another thing is that their should be tiers for gathering spot. I shouldnt have to go through tons of useless monster bone s just to get enough monster bone M for my equipment. I’m fine with the difficulty of the game so far.

    Rural players like myself struggle. The travel speed restrictions also suck if your traveling without driving. My wife and I split drives to town and use exploits to hunt at speed.

    I would be fine if u get a med with walking like 1 km. Traveling distance in this game is no point. This way you still progress by just simply walking while low hp

    I think the most important point is the drop rates... if they don't want to change, then at least cap the number of unique items instead of total quantity in the inventory. This will be useful since gems (decorations) will be added in the near future (another RnG sh*t that we will have to deal with). And the paintball retreat = monster retreat needs to stop. Just stick to the time limit will do. Please.

      What I wish niantics would do with paintballs is enable them for online multiplayer. Having those paid items be used only once is a bummer.

    My current problem is the time limit combined with the weapon/monster moveset. I really like Greatsword, but when the monster is continuously attacking/moving around it's difficult to get worthwhile hits in. Even if I do a perfect dodge, if the monster jumps too far away it's basically worthless. I spend so much time chasing it around getting a couple small hits in and then rinse and repeat... At lower levels I'm fine but I tend to run out of time on the 5-star hunts...

      Yeah, ranged weapons seem even more incentivized as you can consistent hit the target with less risk. I tried bow once and it was comically easier.

      try to do shoulder tackle, but the problem is..sometimes your phone screen can mis-input your hold-swipe as regular swipe...so..yeah it is what it is... i want to be gs user too, but struggle a lot in this game, so i change to bowgun it much easier at the early, but becoming so hard when you reach 6 star, because if you havent tier 5 or 6 you weapon, your damage is just so bad, abit long reload and recoil animation doesnt have either if you havent tier up your armor to tier 6 to get max reload and recoil skill.

      @@rhealize I've played between the tackle and perfect dodge, but when the monster attacks and ends up too far away I'm just chasing it around with small hits... I want those satisfying big hits, but maybe it's just not for this game... Although I have seen clips of some amazing GS players in Now, but their skill is beyond me

    I would love love love a schedule/ roadmap of what to expect beyond a month ahead, but this is Niantic we’re talking about 😅. Though on the other hand, the fact that they even acknowledged the potion issue is like totally out of character for them lol, so maybe there’s hope? Perhaps this is just a result of a totally different team within Niantic developing MHN

    I want to also add my two cents.
    I live rather rurally and between 'playable' areas and gathering points there is a fair distance and I drive. The games complete lock out of activity when travelling at any speeds is dissapointing because it also activates as a passenger and further once stopped it takes several minutes to remove the fast moving restriction

    The small monsters need the have way more value, like maybe heal 1hp per kill or have them be able to have a small chance to drop anything else.

      That's a greats idea. Though I will say, they do have a lot of value because when you craft end game stuff you still need like 30+ Sharp Claws and Wings, so they still are important to farm whenever you can bother

    I have a bunch of unused materials from monsters, the melding idea would be great, or even having the ability to sell parts for gems but I know the devs have to make money somehow. So what about allowing us to use these left-over parts for something useful?

    Drop rates are my biggest problem right now. I've hunted about 6-7 Anjanath and have not gotten a single nosebone, so I can't even craft his weapon

      I had trouble getting nosebones to craft it too, but now I’m swimming in nosebones but can’t get tails to upgrade the stupid weapon to 5/3. How does it make sense to get nosebones from cutting a tail? Ridiculous.

    I have 0 gathering points near me so it's pretty much a no go when it comes to those items :/ we just need a merchant melder or a quest system that gives those out

    I have gotten frustrated with all of these points but I keep playing the game in hopes that it will get a little better and some of these grindy things that require distant travel will be improved. For now, I open my phone occasionally and see what's in the area and figure that if I just do this over time I'll eventually get all the way through with everything I want.

    i live in a small town and there is only 3 nodes in the whole town, and only one within a kilometre of me, kinda sucks and i think they should make them a bit more frequent

    It's also particularly annoying to get rare 2-3 mats even if you hunt a lot because i get more rare 4 mats more than 2 or 3

      Yeah the rates in 2-3 were good on 1-3* monsters but then they don’t spawn as often. I’d love a trade in system of some kind.

    You are so spot on about going out to play and then getting downed within your first few fights. Incredibly demoralizing. I consider myself an above average gamer, and have been playing MH since World, and the healing system still interferes with my enjoyment of this game. Cannot imagine how casual players are faring (you know, the audience that mobile games are typically geared towards? 😆😭)

    My problem is usually the drop in performance every now & then when it comes to hunt big ticket monsters [Legi's, Rath's & Diablos]. On days after work , i occasionally get abducted by one of my roommates to duo hunt things together, only for them to experience the lag also.

    its funny that i came across this video as a bout a week ago i put a post on the official forum requesting a melder/trader as a player how lives in an suburban/ rural area i have 1 node a mile from my house and a cluster of 6 at a park 15 mins drive away from me so i get hard bottlenecked by node resources if i could trade/mend for the items i could slowly make progress towards something just put in a stipulation that you cant get an item you have never gotten to stop ppl from cheeseing for materials of monsters they have not fought

      Agreed, melder will still make players grind the game hard. Just smooths the experience and overall enjoyment.

    ive been stuck on a paolumu quest ive tried with my rank 4 poison sword and shield ( its my highest wpn rank that i had) and even if a smash the paolumu nonstop i couldnt beat it, so i decide to make a fire wpn, but the first one its the anjanath one, so ive been killing anj's the whole week and i could get any r4 material to craft the weapon, i really dont know whats the % on the drops on 4-5 stars anj but of the 34 anjanath ive kill i just have 1 R4 material whic is the one they give u when u discover the first anjanath

    I don't walk but I actually cycle around for 2-3 hours during a run which may sound dumb but this game is better played with faster movement then walking due to node and creature density. ontop of needing often particular creatures which only becomes worse the higher you get due to lvl or star value

    I think they should make it so that when you defeat any monster (even a small one) you get 5hp. That way there would at least be some point in fighting the little monsters coz honestly currently there is 0 reason to fight them ever after like level 25ish

    I agree with much that you say here for sure!
    Personally that grid for the bone pile, mining outcrops, and bugs is the worst.
    It feels really strange that I have some of the rare drops from monsters but I am waiting on bugs to make better stuff. :S

      The way it escalates is a bit too much considering it's only tied to nodes. Just got to a point where the game is asking me for 20 carpenter bugs!

    It'd be cool if they added a campfire mechanic where a player can post up and notify other plays to come join them on the hunt. Taking on 4 and 5 star quests is a big challenge for me with limited healing options. I'm not going to pay to play

    I agree and disagree on the MP aspect. That's mostly bc of kids but having a way to play with friends that are long distance make sense also.

    Things that I think need improvement so far:
    1. I wish you could set you Palico to only paintball specific monster types and maybe even star levels. Also I think paintballs should be a little more available since they’re really useful when my phone is overheating (tropical country problems) or on low battery so I can save a hunt for when I get home.
    2. Healing system definitely needs to be reconsidered. I don’t like systems that limit play time and I don’t think they’re good for the game itself. I play fire emblem heroes and they basically ditched the stamina system after a few weeks because players complained about wanting to play the game more.
    I’ve been playing Pokémon go for awhile now and unfortunately from my experience Niantic is not a very good communicator with their community. More than likely they will not listen to player feedback but I sincerely hope they change their face for this game.
    I’ve been enjoying this game way more than I expected. Mind you I live in a city that has plenty of resource nodes and I always get at least one or two large monster spawns at my apartment so I am quite lucky.

      Also I believe that the root of many issues this game has is in poor monetization. MH Now is a prime candidate for a battle pass/subscription type monetization, which is not exactly to my taste but it will make money for the game which is good for its longevity. They could increase daily potions, give a monthly gem/paintball/other items allowance and some other things like maybe adventure sync could auto battle small monsters every so often or something. The current “pass” is like a pack of gems that increases daily palico paintball limit, which is a start but there’s so much potential for good value there.
      I don’t really like f2p games’ monetization in general and I wish it were just a flat initial fee but it is what it is. The current monetization is just awful and makes me worried for the game’s longevity, but hopefully they will improve it in some ways to benefit all kinds of players.

    3:44 WHERE DRAGONITE ORE?!!!? (I got one from a normal stone drop, but only after reaching 3* monsters, where additional dragonite????????? what am I playing MH1 here?)
    me when I unlock more monsters and suddenly the great jirros population (even in a swamp!) GONE (previously in a location illegal to access, which isn't even finished building yet, had 5 of the fuckers in there)
    4:57 I think 4U'S trader would be a better feature for this, while also allowing monsters who, lets face it are not getting into the game (insert tri underwater monster/gammoth) etc, you could have it so the materials rotate, the materials sometimes go on sale making it idk 1 rathian plate for 1 "plate" equivalent item.

    This game does need some sort of online multiplayer aspect for hunts. Haven't seen any other hunters around where I am. Not to mention nodes...Have to go all the way to the nearby town just to even find one! Not a single node spawns near where I live! And monster spawns...The amount of times I've needed a specific monster and it was never nearby! Even events. 3 hours? For something like Monster Hunter, that is too short for an event. Some people may be out for all that time with no luck finding the event monster. At HR 29 and only managed to get 2 Rarity 3 armour pieces. Monster Bone M is rarer than Monster Bone+ apparently! Feels like Niantic make games that benefit people who live IN cities and near parks.
    Edit: Meanwhile I'm also sitting waiting for Charge Blade. Really hope there's one for each Element! Just like how Switch Axe should be.

    TL/DR: they ought to add multiplayer ASAP. Other problems are also to be addressed, but healing's fine, git gud.
    Frankly, to me the healing feels the last problem to address. Monster Hunter has always been hard and we always loved it for this, making it easier to resist monster damage would make the game more similar to a "Monster Fighter" rather then a "Hunter", and also I would keep it as something to add with future updates in form of decorations/charms/whatever you may grind for and power yourself up equipping it, hopefully delaying the power creep effect that all modern games suffer from at a certain point. I would not "fix" this right now as if it was a broken mechanic.
    I would strongly prioritize multiplayer, hell even the basic asynchronous "guild raid" on same boss would suffice at this point in time. And a freaking ingame chat/guild system for Rath's sake.

    I agree with these for the most part. Overall though, as I an extremely longtime fan of the franchise, I'm very pleasantly surprised with this game.

    For me it's the nodes, there are none in a 2 km radious around me, atleast in pogo i had a gym and a pokestop nearby

    I agree fighting monster over and over again. I'm don't mind Monster fleeing away after some fight and hunt them just by walking to different area with track and paintball that what we call true hunter.

    My main problem is with the speed limit. I don't drive, so when I take an uber i'm able to play, but the speed limit only let me hunt on the traggic lights

      There is a way around this. When the game is speed restricted, hit edit appearance and quickly back out. The map will reload again along with the monsters. You gotta be quick to hunt any monster you find before the speed limit becomes active again.

    Outside of my friend who I got into the Monster Hunter series, there are no other players in my city. The hunting is fun but farming is not. The drop rates are terrible and only amplified by random spawns and random levels. So even if a material is 5% drop chance a monster only had a chance to spawn and 1/6 chance to spawn high enough level. The potions and paintballs are terrible as well. The incentive should be doubling rewards with money but drops are so bad that you'd never even consider it. Thankfully I learned a range weapon so I almost never get hit so potions are not an issue but getting rare materials almost never a possibility. I have yet to see a 6* of the monster I need to get materials from.

      I've also adopted a ranged weapon (bow) to play extra safe against annoying targets to save potions. Unfortunately the drops from the 6* are extremely rare on top of them being hard to find.

    The timer ruins the whole experience for me is way too strict. Not being able to passenger play so much to the point that I can't even gather mats or see the monsters to navigate to them just feels way to controlling on how I'm supposed to play.

    The monster hp scaling with more people need to change. I can solo 7 stars but if I did a 7 star in a group I can't kill it don't get me started on 8 stars I can't kill the lowest level 8s with maxed out gear. I can't even pull in more people to help because it doesn't.

    for me the game is perfect for a niantic game. well i just hope they improve the online multiplayer so that maybe just maybe the players will buy pots and paintballs if they have friends to play with.

    For me:
    the circle size is too small, should be at least 200% of it's current value
    small monster is harder to find than large monster
    the abyssmal drop rate is killing me, it makes me stopped playing at 6star difficulty above

    I play everyday and have access to many monsters and gathering nodes, but the drop rate for rare materials is just so low. Imagine having hard time fighting a 7⭐️ monster only to get bunch of r1 materials….

    What are your stats/skills? I have trouble fighting 6 star diablos using my hammer.

      613 Attack from diablos hammer and I run Focus 5. So Pukei Head, Pukei Chest, Rathian Gloves, Rathalos Waist and Jyura Legs.
      Hammer vs Diablos, it's honestly a very unforgiving fight. Especially because the dig and roar really waste your time. I have a pretty specific script that I try to follow for Diablos kind of as shown in my gameplay. The easy way out seems like an ice ranged weapon.

      @@AifritGaming My attack is also 613 but i dont have focus so i just regular attack. Usually i run a full divine 5 build but im trying out this new build (slugger 3, critical eye 2, divine 1, last stand 1, lock on). I think i keep losing because i get too impatient and try to spam hits too much and cant move away in time. Do you think focus 5 is worth it and is better than just regular attacking? I was considering that build too but not sure if its worth it.

      I can only really talk about my experience. I’ve found that focus 4 was already pretty decent and 5 allows for uppercut spam in some matchups. Sometimes the monster head flings around and I’ve found uppercut to be very long reach and accurate. The damage increase is hard to measure because it only affects some attacks. The main thing focus does is support a playstyle that tries to do the charge uppercut a lot and preemptively line up level 3 smashes. It is a ridiculous investment in killing a ton of jyuratodus so I have a hard time recommending it completely as I’ve not tested other builds really.
      Some notes about it, uppercut seems to apply more stun than normal attacks. So quick access so it is nice. I find it’s 4-5 uppercuts and it’s a KO.
      I’ve yet to understand the balance between KO and part breaking for using slugger. It’s annoying that you can KO and if you part break it interrupts the KO. So it almost incentives breaking parts first then getting the KO or KOing and switching body parts. There seems to be value to spacing things out so you get the most out of each form of crowd control.

    The healing system can't really be changed. Sure, they could add Vigorwasps that spawn around randomly once every 30 mins but potions is their only income as of now so its fair to say that potions should be payed to be obtained.
    Regarding drop rates.
    Everything is fucked up.
    Being able to cut the tail only to have 1 more slot of items that ISN'T the tail makes no fucking sense.
    Also how can you need 12 fucking purescales to upgrade 1 piece of equipment? That amount is impossible to reach unless you only have 1 type of monster in your area, and if they're gonna add monsters, which they'll definetely do, crafting mats are gonna be even more unaccessible

    Not being able to play when going over 20kmh is a huge issue. Once you get to your destination, nothing has changed for you since the game didn't bother to load anything. People would like to play this on the bus, taxi, train, team, ferry, etc.

      Viable as long as you can keep upgrading the weapon! Starting to feel stuck because I can't get it to grade 6. It's also significantly more perilous than just playing a ranged weapon. The diablos weapons are quite strong for raw choices and I expect they can last up until 7* at least. (It's as far as I've gone)

    one year ago, still shit healing system. The fact that you can't craft healing/med kits is atrocious. Like this is the very basis of every monster hunter game and here it needs you to PAY REAL MONEY to heal up.

    I was really excited about this game and I have been utterly disappointed, although I probably shouldn’t have expected much by grabantic… I live in a big city and even after 3 hour walk I couldn’t gather more than 2-4 of the rare node materials like carpenter bugs etc. it’s a game it should be harder than my job!!! Monsters aren’t so many and the respawn rate is abysmal, you legit have to walk from London to Norwich and hope you don’t get obliterated by monsters and maybe just maybe you’ll find maybe 3 purple mats, nothing more. It’s stupid and predatory. Clearly they designed it so you spend your money on potions and hunting knifes to get extra rare materials when they drop. I’m done with this bs

    A couple more quality of life changes in my opinion. One paintball should not disappear after you fail a hunt. This doesn’t even make sense from me lore perspective and this is a paid item. Two if you add HP to your kit and 30% is not 30 health. This means that you’re technically penalized for having more health and have to wait longer to recover.

      Definitely agree paintballs should stay until they expire or you complete the hunt. For hp recovery, I do think it's % based recovery so after roughly 18 minutes you should recover 30% whether you have health boost or not.

    already uninstall this game, im hr 36 rn, i can't even find any single time bonepile, i life in rural area, so niantic telling me i must live in city if u want bonepile, they are joke
