Thank you so much for the video! As a new-ish player who isn't familiar with most of these, it's hard to find a clear, detailed and informative video with this quality! ♥
9:48 keep in mind this damage type status effect can only be proc’d with a skill or set that utilizes the overcharged keyword. The status effect also applies minor magickasteal, which can be gained from other skills, which is what he’s showcasing. Those skills, however, do not proc the overcharge status effect, only other skills, which he mentions in the video and does not showcase. Sorc Dark magic, Nightblade Siphoning, soul magic, and the mages guild skill lines all have access to magic damage abilities that can proc this status effect if you are looking for ways to build around it as a support needing sustain or a dps solo sustain build.
I was just configuring the various buffs/debuffs to use on my tank when your vid popped up! Thanks for the guide. Frost - Chilled definitely seems like one of the strongest status effects in this meta, but I might be biased as a warden main. Minor maim with minor brittle is just too good.
I've been trying to look for an in depth breakdown of the status effect changes for a while preferably a video because of video demo of in game things. This is probably the best out there, majority of the popular meta eso content creators just drop in and test stuff without collective, and accurate date to give their views on the changes which to me is kinda lacking, and the devs don't give out very specific information such as this one. Prolly going to keep coming back to this to review builds especially with Scribing as a complementary skill to modify my builds with.
10:23 the main and only difference between flame and poison damage is that poison scales its damage based on missing health and max stamina while flame damage is calculated using max magicka and weapon/spell damage. Hence the existence of venom claw on stam builds being more powerful than whip.
Awesome content, perfect timing, 10/10, would recommend to a friend or family member Updated tank tier list (to account for the new scribing skills) next 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Carve's dot part is likely to be considered single target dot instead of aoe dot, as written on the uesp coefficient page. AOE dots are usually those that enemy take no damage when moved away from the range. DOTs that stick to the target are mostly single target dots, even though they may be applied through an aoe skill.
From the video: "Even though each enemy gets their own sticky DoT applied to them, it’s still considered an AoE DoT rather than Single Target, because it was applied by an AoE ability, which contradicts how these interact with Champion Points, because the DoTs from stuff like Carve, Noxious Breath et cetera get boosted by Deadly Aim, rather than by Biting Aura." I said it because I also thought it should have the chance of a ST DoT, but I tested it and Carve (and similar DoTs) are considered AoE DoTs when it comes to proccing status effects
It's fascinating to know that I can make a shock sword for my Warden tank and take off Fletcher infection. I'd love to have these statuses and the Minor Debuffs they apply readily available.
You forgot about Eviscerate(vampire spamable) and both its morfs. They applying the Hemorrhaging status effect too. Also I wonder where I can find exact scales of different skills and etc? I know only about eusp build editor, but there no scales for scribing 4 example?
You can't stack them in the sense that you can't have 2 Burnings running at the same time on the same target (you can still have multiple Burnings from multiple players). You also don't need to wait until it runs out, if you apply Burning while there already is Burning on the target it just goes back up to 4 seconds duration
How does the cooldown on the bonus disease work? Like is it per person or per target. If its per target can they only be hit by one explosion originating with them for 4s? Or one explosion all together? So like two targets next to each other, and two dps using infused 2h backbar with disease enchants stampede in. Each procs diseased twice in 4s 4 normal disease hits, but Is there one or two bonus explosions?
So if we cast elesus with serpents disdain and some effort stacks we'll get a 100% uptime of burning/concussion/chilled +100% uptime vulnerabily and brittle? Why do we need heartland conquer then?
If Shock is best in slot for Sorcerers, should a Sorcerer running a Flame staff on the front bar and a Lighting staff on the back bar have a Shock enchant on both weapons?
I find Serpent's disdain good on higher levels of IA, where trash numbers are high and kiting becomes more important. Whilst ele susceptible is fine for maintaining 3 effects easily, extending 16 seconds on the others is a massive dps increase. Outside that, it is pretty pointless.
what is the difference between the intrinsic damage type of a weapon on the enchant one can place on it? For example if I enchant an ice staff with flame damage will it proc both chilled and burning? Also do they both have a cooldown?
The "intrinsic damage type" are just Light Attacks and Heavy Attacks, they have 0% chance to proc status effects so they don't matter, it's just the enchant that matters. If you enchant an Ice Staff with Flame damage, you'll only proc Burning with Light/Heavy Attacks
@@Hyperioxes Am I just imagining it or does the Sorc destro staff spell which does three types of damage proc more often the enchantment damage type which is on it.
I thought they changed the healing orb back in the day to avoid too many calculations for the servers. So much for that idea. And being a returning player, this helped out a ton, makes sense now as to why i feel so nerfed. I would've never guessed that we are now in a proc/charged meta.. Unbelievable, Zoz really has lost its way

Holy crap I needed this so much. Its hard understanding all of this on your own but you just helped me a TON with trying to craft a new build.

This was extremely helpful! I was just trying to research this information. Thank you for a great video!

Great video. Had to come back for a refresher course. Thank you.
Trying to piece together how to make all these available in my trial group comp. Appreciate this info very much!

That's not true, they both scale with either Max Stamina or Max Magicka, whichever is higher
@@Hyperioxes not according to the wiki.

So you're telling me Scalding Rune's DoT is not single target
Awesome!!!
can u make a video abt the transmog? the armor outfit is so cool!
or maybe list them out on what you use to look that way! thank you, subbed!
What are you using to see the detailed breakdown for damage values in the tool-tip? Is this from a website or available in game?
It's fascinating to know that I can make a shock sword for my Warden tank and take off Fletcher infection. I'd love to have these statuses and the Minor Debuffs they apply readily available.
Can you please share the addon showing a detailed tooltip about each skills with their respective damage rates

Hi, can u stack burning status effect, or the burning status effect last 4 second, and then u can apply a new burning status effect
You can't stack them in the sense that you can't have 2 Burnings running at the same time on the same target (you can still have multiple Burnings from multiple players). You can get hemorrhage from atherial burst and rending slashes

Currently im running zaan, ansuuls/coral and nirn on my stam dk. Im thinking about swapping nirn for runecarvers blaze. Looking for opinions.

I think they removed a minor breach from sundered. It was out there in some patch notes can you confirm?
Sundered is still with minor breach
Does thaumatic boom aplies to status effect??
