I have lived in Kolhapur. This Vada Pav is really overrated taste wise especially for the price at which it's sold.
The crust of Vada is really thick (almost as thick as a finger) making it feel crunchy. Otherwise the taste is average.
People there love it because you get to eat freshly fried, hot Vada anytime you go there.
