    Spot on JC! Gorgeous place to live! Leesburg has all the benefits of being close to DC while having a small town feel.

    Totally agree with this list of pros. Historic downtown Leesburg really has come a long way and we prefer a night out downtown over any other areas around us.

    Great video...very professional presentation! You captured the pros and cons pretty much exactly how I've seen them over the last 20 years. Glad you put weather as pro and con since different people can see it differently, but I love the 4 seasons in Leesburg!

    Great video, well done and spot on! Add to number #1 is Leesburg's regular parades, street fairs, events and weekend road closures (allowing for open sidewalk dining).

    Well done! One thing to add to the list of PROS is the fact that downtown Leesburg is such a great place for ALL AGES of adults to socialize - you can be in your 20s and all the way up and have a great time hopping around the awesome downtown establishments. Wonderful outdoor dining and socializing opportunities.

    Perfectly sums up my experience with Leesburg, especially the growth of downtown in the last 5 years. It's becoming more and more common for my Arlington friends to come out to Leesburg for a night out instead of trying to get us to come to them!

    Traffic and weather is not tolerable. Being a resident since 1976 enough was enough. I saw the end of dairy farms and stop signs to tract homes built on historic corn fields to flyovers and toll roads. 40,000 Loudoun Co. population to over 400,000. Literally I could not travel route 15 to Lucketts on a Friday night to get home. The old slang "Don't Fairfax Loudoun " never happened. Taxes went out of control as well.

    2 hours to the beaches in MD, then you show a clip of Ocean City. A bit of false advertising. Sandy Point State Park might be 2 hours away, but thats a small beach on the bay. Ocean City is 4+ hours away. Of course, you also say you can be in NYC in 4 hours and good luck with that.

    • @insideloudoun408
      @insideloudoun408 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've made it to NYC in under 5 hours. And Ocean City in under 3. But if you want to make a big deal about that then have at it.
