Mannequins was the best club ever! So many nights dancing in my spot near the mirrors as the dance floor rotated I wove through the crowds. Just loved a the of the positive energy flowing out of this place. Never forget it. DJs were amazing.
❤❤❤ this is absolutely incredible as someone who witnessed the last nights of the club… Also, I was a lighting technician at Tracks Washington DC with some of the very similar or the same lighting instruments but we didn’t have a turntable, but we made it work, so I appreciate this video so much and I watch it all night long
Lords of Acid.into Acid Rock...this set is very similar to mine in Panama City Beach in 1988-2004..I had a live radio mix from the club 10-mid..kids cruising the Miracle Strip..all had my show in their cars

Vari Lites..Concert Venue Lighting..is what set this club apart..Vari-Lites were "Lease only" with a controller and operator..wayyyy before the LED lighting we see now..I saw about 50 emulators..they are cool..but Dim..compared to the vari lites and dataflash

I'm so glad I lived in Central Florida in the mid-90s and got to experience the real Pleasure Island. Those were unforgettable times.

i have great memories there, especially during Gay Days at DIsney in the 90s. AMAZING!!!! so much fun!!!
