Guessing everyone already knows about the snow globe, but if not... spoiler. Sean likes Sue and got it for her. He went to give it to her and tell her how he felt while she was at college. Her brother Axl was secretly dating her roommate/ best friend. Axl answered the door, thought Sean was there to ask out his gf, Lexi, and told Sean she, Lexi, was already seeing someone and Sean thought he ment Sue was seeing someone. Sad, Sean threw it in the trash in the hallway. Later Sue found it, loved it, and took it. There's multiple scenes where he almost saw she had it but like here didn't. They figured it out last episode.
