I should haven chosen the same postcard as you did for this person. Me personally always checking the wall of received cards for that person, but when there are too many cards I specify it to a search from NL, otherwise it's not fun to do anymore. This way of filming is fine for me but all written on a piece of paper is fine too. Do what you like the most and feels good!! Have a good week and don't forget to take an umbrella with you when going outside. ☔☔🌧🌧
Oh that is smart, I didn't realize you can specify the search. Thank you, have a good week as well! Ah usually I end up getting completely soaked, I no longer even own an umbrella haha🌂
I love videos where people show how the do a postcard and talk while they do it. Also, as a fan of Van Gogh, I loved that you choose the last one because I got to see all the cards! 😁
Normally, I look at the person’s favorites. I’m always happy when I have a card they have favorited, but haven’t received yet. But I agree with you when it comes to people requesting Postcrossers look at their received cards as to not send duplicates. I also get a bit annoyed when people say they don’t like certain types of postcards and to please not send them. I like the new way you show the profile, but enjoy the previous way also. When I get someone’s address, I make a list on a piece of paper like you. It helps me decide what card, stamps, and decorations to choose.
Yeah, I understand what you mean. I don't really like that either. Especially when the don'ts become a very extensive list! Of course some things I understand, such as meat when you're vegetarian or if you prefer that people keep their clothes on. But those are not the ones we're talking about here. Thank you so much for the feedback! And how fun you also make a list😊
Hi Panda, I enjoy your videos so much! Beautiful card and decoration. She will not have a choice but to really like it. I think the starry night is excellent, also because one of Van Gogh's most famous artworks is called "starry night". I also appreciate that you give links to where you bought the products you used. ... I agree! I think any such strict requests, like not wanting duplicates when someone has to work through hundreds of cards to establish that. Also restrictions of cards a person doesn't like. Not everybody has a wide selection of cards and huge funding resources. I think one appreciates every card one gets - the connection, the time that went into it, the written content etc. It all just are to appreciate and be thankful for. Lots of best wishes to you! 😊
Hi Charnie, thank you so much♥Your comment put a big smile on my face! I'm glad you like the links I put in the description. I wasn't sure if anyone noticed or appreciated it and it does take some time to gather them. So it's good to know it does matter! I agree, not everyone has a large stack or a big budget. And that isn't necessary for this wonderful hobby! It's open for everyone. We can't be picky and I think that is also not the point of Postcrossing. Of course we can write wishes and it's fun to try and fulfill them. But I prefer profiles with DO's instead of DONT's😊Have a great week!
Japan is really Nice. Nö i Not Look Do some one have something. Twice. But we have postcards most peoples Not have so normaly it's Not a Problem. We Not have Series everyone know

@@Gehtdichnixan876 Cool! Of course things like Amazon are fine too, especially if you don't have access to other things. But if you do have the possibility then it's very nice to get some special things.
I would never intentionally send a duplicate card but asking people to check received cards when you have hundreds, let alone thousands strikes me as unreasonable. My thought is no card is every truly a duplicate. The image may be the same but the person sending it, their handwriting, their words, the stamp(s) they use etc. will be different. If you do PC long enough you'll inevitably receive duplicates. May as well enjoy them
I love that thought! And you are right, they wouldn't be exact duplicates. Postcrossing is about more than just collecting cards in my opinion, so the back of the card also matters.💌
Do you like this new way of seeing the profile while I talk about it? Or do you prefer looking at the piece of paper like I used to do?

I agree about the non-duplicate card comment from you regarding what was on the profile - like you, I treasure every card and note I get.
Thank you, I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling like this! Isn't it way more fun if you treasure them all anyway?
@@stationerypanda Actually none of them will be duplicate, because the back will be way different 😜🥰
@@missstarbuck I fully agree! But I don't think this Postcrosser feels the same way, since she wrote that on her profile.
It is so good to see a video from you. I love the postcard!
Thank you❤Health has been a little bit in the way of filming but I hope to be able to make more videos soon😊
