Never understood heating tires up and roll racing first. Hot tires are for the dig. Also, i heard no brake boosting? If you guys are in RWD cars, you should be brake boosting to get those turbos spooling... I've turned my 550 into basically a track monster. It started as a 2014 550Xdrive M Sport, so it came with launch control (all M cars have that LC). Since i had the money, i went straight for the block. I have upgraded sport cams with custom gears, my upper intake manifold has been bored out, and i have larger piston rods and heads. This supports the larger throttle body i installed, which in turn allowed me to run upgraded turbo lines to stretch the stock turbos out fully. The intercooler has also been upgraded and i have CAI's from K&N. Underneath i have long tube headers connecting to high flow cats, and 4" exhaust piping straight oit the back. The pipes are independent and do not tough eqch other, creating a classic "true dual" setup. Also the car has no air restrictions underneath. Since i have sport cams and long tubes, this allowed me to go stage 3. Currently, she sits at 970whp with 1040 lb ft of torque. 9.789 is my best 1/4 mile.
@@kobejurek3375 nah the LCI M Sport reflectors are in the same spot. The base body has the lower deflectors. It definitely look like a LCI to me cuz of the adaptive LED headlights, unless he retrofitted them. But shit, who knows

Subtle signs on the f10 lci compared to my pre lci f10 as it has nearly identical headlights and taillights to me personally and still has the same sexy lines.. On my pre lci e90 I hated the tail lights and headlights compared to lci e90. F10 from the start we’re done correctly.
The 550 upgrade turbo need time to spool up thats why the 340 takes the lead. But as soon as them upgrade turbo start sing the 340 dead, because he is at the end of his power band. Now if it was a X-drive 550i, he would beat him from the line.....
The Xdrives are AWD, that's the only difference. The transfer case is doing the work on those, but they're a lot heavier. Brake boosting will take care of the spooling.
Both cars are very nice and fast. What does your car run in the quarter mile? I have a F10 535i M-Sport X drive. Mildly tuned & Runs a 12.9 currently. Planning to add a bigger turbo and additional fueling this summer.

bro do your research, that's a 550i, M550 is diff and it's only on 2018+ models and those are actually tuned differently hence they being the M performance models, this 550i is just a regular 5 series
there is a m550D offered in euro for f10/f11. I recalled after this comment at least what I was told in the f10 forums when I said the same thing about a dude calling his f10 m550 lol. Diesel was not mentioned in the video but they did seem to be getting euro versions of cars with km

So, I have a 2011 X5 n63. I upgraded the turbo cartridges. I took care of that pesky catalyst converter, and I have a Jb4 tune. The stock horsepower is 400hp + jb4 100hp + catalyst converter delete 50hp + upgraded turbo cartridges 50hp. So if my math is right, I can be pushing anywhere from 550hp to 600hp on a good day. I feel like I could have taken both of you guys. 😉🫠🤣😅 I was just making a bad joke. I know I'll get smoked.
This doesn’t make sense, my friends bm3 stage 2 dp 440 barely beats my 2013 550 (non TU) a upgraded turbo e30 2016 550 would absolutely walk a 340, either the 340 is e40 and upgraded turbo or the 550 is just off a base stage 1/2 tune, the weight doesn’t make for that big of a difference considering the power from both
