Thank you John. If you decide to come back to jewelry world, the videos will always be on my channel. Even if it is not for jewelry, 3D printing and prototyping are very fun. Wish you good luck on wherever you go. Best!
Hi Pj, great video as always. I have a question. when I select on selection filter, what box should I check so I can modify/adjust the bridge. Thank you
Hello PJ, when I select the faces then hit enter it says : "Bridge end has to be within a single object" What am I doing wrong, I cannot get them to connect, I am using Rhino 7
Hi PJ! Thank you for the video. I have a problem with my bridge command. every time I click on bridge and then on filter faces a chart comes up and I have to choose the choices and then when I select the faces on the ring nothing happens. they turn yellow which means they are selected but when I press enter nothing happens. I don't know why.
Hello, I have a question about how I can change the dimension of the ring to adapt it to different numberings without having to redo it from 0 for each of the numbers?
if you are talking about ring size. it depends on if you have the stone on it or not. you can 3D scale it up and down 1 size without notice much about the thickness. if you have stone. you need to rebuild the ring. As long as you have original curve on. it should not take too long to rebuild.
Hi PJ! I came again☺️☺️☺️ I saw a other TH-cam video from McNeel and he drew a circle, then make it a subd friendly curve, and then enlarge it outbound for the thickness of ring with a gumball..?? I followed samely, but my subd friendly circle doesn’t allow me to create a surface with a gumball.. ?
@@PJChenJewelryDesign thank you for your reply!☺️☺️ yes, I can see the red/blue dot in the middle of arrows in the gumball as you said and It is extrusion for tubing it.. what is in the video is for the thickness of ring.. in the video, he just turn the crv into. Subd friendly curve and then drag the square at the end of gumball and it makes surface outbound from the circle??? could you watch the video? It doesn’t seem to work for me..
Hi PJ, I'm mostly working with STL scan files, like to know is there anyway to convert smooth surface in Rhino, I've tried meshtoNurbs command but not working as I want . Thank you

Hi! Thanks for your great tutorials! I can't find "bridge" command in rhino 6. Is it not the right version? thanks!
That is correct. SubD only available in Rhino 7
Hello PJ, when I select the faces then hit enter it says : "Bridge end has to be within a single object" What am I doing wrong, I cannot get them to connect, I am using Rhino 7
the two side of object to be bridge should be the same object ( either edges or faces)and the same number.

you will need to select two set separately with enter in-between.
