“The strength of the SAF today is a tribute and testament to the men and women of the SAF, including more than one million NSmen who have done their duty year after year. Together, we have forged an SAF that is an advanced, modern fighting force and one that we can all be proud of to protect Singapore. It is an SAF that can carry us forward to a secure future with the next generation of Singaporeans, to the next centennial and beyond,” expressed Minister for Defence, Dr Ng Eng Hen in his SAF Day Message this year.
Yesterday, the SAF Day Parade was held at SAFTI Military Institute, celebrating and acknowledging the various achievements of our Armed Forces, as well as providing an opportunity for servicemen to reaffirm their commitment to defence. Officiating the parade was President of the Republic of Singapore, Madam Halimah Yacob. To all the servicemen out there, we salute you!
