I have to give Castellanos some praise and recognition. Admittedly I was one of the fans who questioned him and wrote him off. And to be fair, I was justified in doing so after last season's nightmare performances. He couldn't hit a barn door, his touches were poor, etc. Looked like Muriqi 2.0 for sure. But, I am a fair man! When the facts and circumstances change, I am willing to change my opinion as well. And Taty has really impressed me this season. One of my big knocks on Taty was not only that he does not score enough goals but that he doesn't score hard goals or "pretty" goals. So his goal numbers were poor, and when he did score it was a very basic goal. Tap in, header from 4 yards out, etc. But the 2 goals he scored against Nice in the Europa League were absolutely sensational. Top level stuff. Especially that 2nd goal he put into the top corner after some wonderful touches in the penalty area. I think he can be a very serviceable player now especially if he keeps improving and building his confidence. I'm happy to see him turn things around. Big praises for Pedro who is still a productive contributor at his age. Scored a fantastic goal vs Nice as well. And finally praises for Baroni as well. Most people (including myself) were expecting a drop off this year based on the departures and some of the risky transfers we made. Instead we are still challenging for UCL/Europa League spots and we're playing an exciting brand of football. And I believe we can get even better because we're already playing well even though this team is basically brand new and still a developing work in progress. I'm very happy and pleasantly surprised with Lazio's start this season.
I was very impressed with these two games. I think isaksen just needs to score because at times I see the opposition players often have a hard time with him. Hopefully he finds the back of the net soon.
I would say we play 4-1-3-2: Taty - Dia Zaccagni - Guendouzi - Isaksen Rovella Tavares - Romagnoli - Gila - Lazzari Provedel Same system as in 03/04: Corradi - Lopez Cesar - Stankovic - Fiore Giannichedda Favalli - Mihajlovic - Stam - Oddo Peruzzi The roles line-up sort of like this: CF - SS AML - AMC - AMR DM WBL - CB - CB - WBR It however ends up looking like a 5-5, when you consider all the rolls of players (including playing with wingback). One could argue for 4-1-4-1 and many other systems, or even it is the old WM making a return: CF - SS AML - AMC - AMR WBL - DM - WBR CB - CB AML - CF - AMC - SS - AMR WBL - CB - DM - CB - WBR CF AML - AMC - SS - AMR DM WBL - CB - CB - WBR CF AML - SS - AMR AMC - DM WBL - CB - CB - WBR CF SS AML - - AMR AMC DM WBL - - WBR CB - CB These diverse options is why this is an amazing systems, which does not even have a fixed formation, and I am so happy we are playing like this AGAIN. This is my favourite style, and while I started following Lazio since they days of Svennis, then this system is how I feel in unbreakable love with Lazio. The organisation is not in the system, but in how the players work for each other, as everyone gets to have fun playing like this.
I’m too high to write out what I think but this isn’t a squad, it’s a Lazio team with harmony. If it would’ve happened about 50 years ago, I think we would call them the opposite of The Pistolleri. Enough said SFL 🩵🤍🦅

Forza Lazio, a World Class play from Nuno Tavares

We have to find a reserve Rovella...Totally agree.
Forza Laziooooooo❤❤❤
I would say we play 4-1-3-2:
Taty - Dia
Zaccagni - Guendouzi - Isaksen
Rovella
Tavares - Romagnoli - Gila - Lazzari
Provedel
Same system as in 03/04:
Corradi - Lopez
Cesar - Stankovic - Fiore
Giannichedda
Favalli - Mihajlovic - Stam - Oddo
Peruzzi
The roles line-up sort of like this:
CF - SS
AML - AMC - AMR
DM
WBL - CB - CB - WBR
It however ends up looking like a 5-5, when you consider all the rolls of players (including playing with wingback). One could argue for 4-1-4-1 and many other systems, or even it is the old WM making a return:
CF - SS
AML - AMC - AMR

WBL - CB - CB - WBR

WBL - CB - CB - WBR

Nuno is like cesar🇧🇷,kolarov, lulic full back who become winger.
Mamma mia! CESAR was one of my favorite player!
Taty&dia remind me of pandev&rocchi,
get tavares on permanent signing now!
Cut out the sloppy goals & keep Rovella healthy for a top 4 finish
