This isn’t a criticism, just an observation: the fabric she used is super thin. Hopefully, it’s just for the demonstration. Thin fabric does have its uses, but generally not very good for a quilt.
She has a finished block of 9 inches, and she started with four 5 1/2 inch squares. Divide your desired block size (Don't forget outside seam allowance!) by two, then add an inch for your starting squares. She marked in from the edge roughly 1/3 in order to draw her diagonal lines, although other angles would work, too, so long as you are consistent. I would pick an easy number to work with and make a test block to see how you like the result and double check block size. And remember to offset pieces to match them at the seam line rather than the edge when you are sewing them. ;-) Have fun!
So critical! I think the work she does is beautiful! I don’t see you having the courage to make n put videos on this platform. Just rude person you must be miserable

Fantastisch, leuk project.

Can we do this starting with 5 inch squares? If we do, how many cm do we count to make it work?
Yes can , you can mark it on 4.5 cm
Thank you!

Many a beautiful quilt has been made with Liberty Lawn fabric. A much thinner fabric than our regular quilting weight fabric.
Thank you. I had to do paper piecing ,wasting much fabric just to get the same results.
Thank you 🙏
Интересный блок, мне понравилось, спасибо Вам большое, подписалась на Ваш канал❤❤❤
Thank you 🙏
I can see myself sewing these together incorrectly, lol
The ordinary size is of 14 15 16 inches how can we alter the fabric measurement to reach same result

When cutting fabric is one right sides together and other block wrongs side together
😊
Not sure about the block, but maybe when several blocks are put together they form secondary patterns? Would have been beneficial to see that
❤❤❤
❤️❤️😊
4:05p est. Great technique, lo ve this block!
Thank you 🙏
That fabric is so thin it’s almost gauze like And her measurements on a bl😅ck are never squared Something is off with the whole thing

why do you keep making a fist?
The "fist" is indicating the action of ironing or pressing the seams
Something doesn't look right to me...
It’s the choice of the fabric prints. They don’t go together.
I would square them up and have solids be alternating. So if you would have to make two squares that are the same.
I thought it was my OCD.
I would prefer plain cotton fabrics to give a vibrant shade or design

Hum, i don’t think I like the block. Love the center.
Thank you 🙏
Зачем показывать как сшиваете 4 лоскута? Одного достаточно
Interesting concept but color combinations don't look that good.
Thank you
I never watch when cm are used.Just inchesn
.
Most of world use metric, more precise measurements.
Well that's kinda lazy and demanding don't you think?
Just get a ruler with both centimeters and inches. Not hard at all.
