This is my first ever public comment. You folks got this video right. Hats off to ya and a knuckle bump to express my appreciation. Two thumbs up as they say. The gentleman that commented that when he was a kid and didn't want to clean the ducks because he just wanted to admire them..... that was me, I swear, 3rd grade. I come in every Monday morning with a plastic bag full of duck parks. I'd wait all day with excitement I could barely contain until " show and tell" time. My hand was always up first. Teacher would roll her eyes, but allow me to the front of the class. I'd pull out the bag and remove some duck part that "needed" to be explained to my classmates. One Monday I brought in the faces of a spoony and a cinnamon teal and explained how they are related. Show and tell was over that particular day because the time allotted for it was used up whilie I cleaned all the blood drippings.
I couldn’t agree more with you. I hunt on the Texas coastal prairie and I usually hunt on flooded farm land and I’ve recently discovered the art of diver duck hunting along a creek in our property and I think I’m in love with it! All it takes is that one good experience to get you hooked!
Thanks for sharing the series. Duck hunting is more than pulling the trigger. Your focus on the duck hunter adds a level of entertainment not often captured in hunting movies. I have enjoyed watching them all.
I've watched this series from the start and have now restarted it. And once again I think that this was a great kickoff episode to get everyone hooked for more. Thanks guys.
Fun to see you all out hunting, me and Nick go back at least 30 years and Rich over 20. Just like you mentioned Tony I ment you about 15 years ago out at BRBR swan hunting. We are all so blessed to have the habitat that we have to hunt right out our back door. Look forward to seeing you all in the marsh soon 🙂
Guys u could not of done better! Love it being born raised here in utah we have spectacular waterfowl season and great access to enjoy the great outdoors. Something burns inside a waterfowl er not about the shooting. Watch birds work is the best
Excellent first show. I’m definitely subscribed and excited about a video series on the 41. I’m booked for my first hunt in the same area in January with airboats, etc. Beautiful country...and thanks for showing the issue with the airboat. Keep it real!
IMO you guys captured what I feel waterfowling is about... The people/buddies, the set up, journey and the stories. Btw-Your drone shots were cool. And it's a different kind of hunt that most of us won't see or do. So tired of seeing the Canadian and field hunts dominating the shows and TH-cam.
I do the same thing with my flock flickers. And here I thought I was the only person smart enough to think of that. I use a dove wing to give it more flash. The wings they give you with them I just throw away. Great video

Honestly it was so awesome to see how stoked they were on what we were doing! Their fresh passion for the ride and holding ducks made us all step back and realize what a cool thing it is to hunt ducks. We had a ball taking them out!
The whole episode was edited like a trailer. Cut scene after cut scene. Never really got to know who you were hunting with, what their stories were. Like.. One second we're in a large body of water hunting out of layout boats, the next your in a marsh in A frames. I never met who you were hunting with to begin with so I didn't know if you were hunting with new people? I'm sure fluidity will get better as the show moves forward. Just my shitty 2 cents.
Layout and sinkbox hunting was started in NC on the OBX and is a much better state for divers and seaducks and layout boats.....this is wack, pamlico sound you can shoot divers, puddle ducks and sea ducks in the same hour, y'all need to get it together more history and gunning heritage in the Atlantic.
,Hunter Ingold , you can also shoot puddlers, divers and seaducks in Utah as well as a dozen other states. We showcased Utah as a majority of the members of hunt41 live here. No doubt there is a lot of history on the east coast as well as all states that offer waterfowl hunting. Episode 3 might be in your wheel house. Hope you have a great season.

Fantastic video! I grew up in Utah and hunted the marshes and GSL many of times.
Wow what a great thing you are all doing. I live in N. cali we get the same kind of hunting here to. but we have to deal with the tides.
