My heart broke when my father died. It was 10 years before I was able to sing anything. God pushed me out to sing. My Father-in Law asked me to sing the US National Anthem at the Kennedy Space Center All America Day Picnic, right after 9-11, the passing of the boot for NYC Fire Fighters and a few other memorials. He also called me to sing at my brother’s Airforce Retirement ceremony. I still have difficulty but I know that when I am asked to sing but I know he privileges me to be a vessel for His glory. Give yourself time.
